I reckon he could get 40-60 from vitali and it's his best shot at a wlad rematch.

If vitali beats adamek clear then haye goes back to best heavyweight not named klitschko.

Btw that interview was great, I hoped it was just his ego talking fight night and it seems to be the case. Full of credit for wlad and rightly so.

If haye has time and motivation his best path is a fight with stiverne, a complete nobody who is somehow a mandatory after beating a complete nobody himself.

He'll make quick work or stiverne guaranteeing him a shot at vitali. Win them 2 and he goes back to 50/50 with wlad, if he's active enough that could just be a year from now.

Why? Based on the fact that you like him? He hasn't earned a rematch. He didn't press the action enough in his match with Wlad. I don't have a problem with him getting a rematch but he has to earn it.

Nope, no rematch. If Haye wants to fight the other Klitschko to see if he could do better, that may be a sellable fight. Maybe.

There's no upside for Wlad in a rematch. He already won convincingly and isn't likely to improve on the performance as Haye will run for 12 more rounds. It will be another stinker, and that will only lower the casual fan's interest in Wlad as Retiring Man leaves the scene with a fatter wallet and another "L."

Better to fight Chisora or another fighter who will actually come to win. Someone like a Calvin Brock who will come out swinging. That will make for a much more crowd-pleasing fight and help Wlad continue to build his world-wide marketability and name.

Haye's done. He had his shot, and he blew it. Don't care if he plays humble now or if he wears the T-shirt with the severed head: It's over.

As someone mentioned above, Haye and Kevin Johnson are the kinds of fighters who are ruining the sport. If you don't want to fight, don't sign the contract. You'll save a lot of fans a lot of money and time.
