Waldo does not need Haye at all right now. There is not pressure at all from the boxing media to make this fight as it was all initiated by the Haye camp. Charisma and an exciting boxing style are by no means enough to warrant this fight.

If Haye beats a couple of contenders, it is a different story.

Some people just need to admit that they don't like Haye because he makes a lot of noise.

The undisputed Cruserweight champion moved up - he doesn't need to start from the bottom again - that's not what happens.

Some people think Chris Nipple is more deserving!

If the fight doesn't happen now, that's fine for Haye too...he'll get better whilst Wlad will just age another year...Haye might not be a proven HW big-gun, but he is a proven borderline elite boxer moving up to a division that is in very bad shape...there aren't that many appealing choices for the Klitschkos out there...they'll have to fight him sometime, if they're going to keep making a noise in the division. If they just want to make money against fighters who pose no thread whatsoever...and who are boring as hell to watch...fine...but I doubt they'll do that indefinitely. Don't forget that Haye might be worth more money now than at any other time in future - someone might get to his chin before the Klitschkos do...and then what...?

It's business. I think this fight will happen this year, sometime.

Wlad will lose credibility if, after all his noise about being upset about the photo of Haye holding his severed head and how he was going to teach Haye a lesson with his fists, he wimps off to fight someone else. Violent retribution ain't what it used to be.

  9. If Wlad pulls out of this he becomes the laughing stock of the division

Haye Vs Wlad is the fight ppl want to see..... Not Wlad against Arreola who is not even fringe world class yet, he is more or less a domestic class boxer. It would be like a lamb to the slaughter

Wether it is deserved or not, Wlad is gonna get flamed if he doesn't make this fight... by he whole boxing media

This is exactly what happened with Calzaghe and Kessler...it was on, then off, they both blamed each other, the fans went nuts and hyped the fight like nothing else, and then it was on again, and became the biggest fight of the year on ESB!

This is how this business works...there's only one Haye in the division and they have to hype this fight to get every last penny out of it. The fans have to be taken for a ride to build up momentum. It's all part of the game.

Wlad won't lose credibility at all as the boxing media did not pressure Wlad to face Haye.

It was all initiated by the Haye camp so he will get the blame if the fight does not come off. The media knows Wlad does not make any unresonable demands during negotiations and there is actually been rarely or never a Wlad fight which falled through.

Haye on the other hand has already a bad history because he elected to face a bum instead of Toney or Rahman for his first fight. So, there is no question who will be blamed. Nobody cares about this photo.

Wishfullthinking. Right now, it looks like the fight won't happen. It may happen later though in a year or two if Haye is still around.

If you follow the sport since a long time you know that:

The longer negotiations last, the less likely it is the fight comes off.
