    "the easier route"

Given that I don't think Haye would beat Vitali, it looks like the right decision to not fight him straight away. He now has leverage, and if he does fight him before Wlad, at least he will make a load more money doing so. I doubt Haye is going to be stuck in the WBA 'circle jerk', I think it is blatantly obvious that if someone needs to be paid step aside money then they will. As long as Haye doesn't do something stupid and get KOed in a warm up fight, then the Haye v either Klit fight will happen.

Chef, don't be a *****. Wlad is one of my favourite fighters. The route Haye took is obviously easier, but it makes sense, whereas the other route was an immense risk. Boxers have one career, rarely do they get more than one chance at getting it right. If Haye lost (which is totally possible) do you not think he might regret that in 15 years time when he as 'x' millions less in his bank account? The Haye v one of the Klit fights is bound to happen. At least this time, Haye has engineered the situation so that he makes more money.

Then where are the number. Look them up. Obviously you have nothing better to do...you look everything else up.

Ok then, I apologise.:good I think I'm an exception to the rule in that Wlad, Vitali and Haye are probably my 3 favourite active fighters. Where as 99% of other people like only Haye or only the Klitschkos. So these kind of threads are always strange to me, very polarising for most people! Generally just irriatating to me.;)

Anyway, prior to the Klitschko stuff, Haye didn't have a record of going against his word. His level of opposition was far above average for almost all of his career, bar a couple of poor opponents - but who doesn't have those?! And I genuinely believe that he wants to fight both Wlad and Vitali, he just realised (or more likely Adam Booth?) that he could engineer a situation where if it all went wrong, that he would still be able to make the most of the situation.

If i'm not mistaken i also think his brother-in-law is Dominic Frisby who is one of the foremost financial commentators in the country so there is no excuse for him to go broke!!!!!!!!

    I agree.

Albert Sosnowski should be next on his list.

    i love the terms
    "smart move"
    "better position"
    "more leverage"
    "wba belt"

all that means is he ducked, ducked and ****in ducked recognized champs....that circus belt he has is more bogus than the fact John Ruiz fought for it 11 times. that should tell you something.
im sick of everyone talking about a slave contract the first time....if it was so bad, he shouldnt have signed it. he was the unproven one at heavy, so he shouldnt have even been sitting at the table anyway...i used to like the guy, but he is not a man of his words.....id have more respect for him if he fought wlad and was kod in the 2nd round than calling guys out and **** talking them for a year and running the other direction 4 weeks before the fight....what a joke.
