i honestly think haye stepped up to hw shouting his mouth off calling out the klits bros thinking he would get a shot until he fought a few more hw fights but was probably shocked it all came about so fast.
i think he needs more hw experience before fighting the k bros.
then he might be ready.

Haye might be lucky in hindsight in that Vitali is very close to retiring so Haye will probably never have to face him.

Hopefully in a couple of years a showdown with little brother can still happen.

What your missing is that we already say this before they have fought so its not an exuse, its the truth, an out of shape Arreola is no threat to Vitali.

Vitali simply wasn't willing to pay Maskaev $5m and Peter $3m as a step aside compensation for a total of $8m, part of which would come straight from Vitali's purse. Why would he pay off Peter when he could simply wait for Peter to fight Maskaev and then fight the winner so Vitali was then entitled to a regular purse.

 

It proably would have sold way more than Vitali vs. Peters, put it in the Ice palace and let centeries of ethnic hatred take hold...
