It was obvious .....Ruiz has ruined Haye's career, same as he
ruined Holy, Jones, Golota, Toney and many others before.

Somewhere on German TV. Vitali grabbed him and (softly) punched Haye on his shoulder and said something to the camera to the effect of how he is looking forward to fighting this "big mouth man".

Haye was speechless for a second or so. He looked like it dawned on him that he awakened some terrible giant and now it was about time to find an exit from this mess.

 

Of course Haye has a decent enough chance of winning. Let's assume Haye has a 30% chance against Wlad. If they got in the ring 10 times Wlad would break Haye down systematically 7 times out of 10, 3 times Haye would land a bunch of perfect combos and stop Wlad. Fine.

But he has a 90% chance against old, over-the-hill bums like Ruiz and Valuev -- or Harrison, Meehan, Holyfield or whatever other near 40 year old clowns the WBA will admit in their circle jerk. And the Brit press and pay-per-view audience doesn't care about the quality of his opponents, that much is certain.

So why on earth would he take a risk against a dangerous fighter like Wlad or Vitali? Haye will just keep talking about them but will likely never get in the ring with them. Not until they are beyond their prime anyways. Vitali undoubtedly already is and Haye still deems him too dangerous.

 

They are probably in discussion with Wlad or Vittali.Booth is most likely just playing down any talk of a fight in case nothing comes of it again.I dont think Haye is scared i think he wants the fight.I dont think he can win it but i think he wants it as much as people want to see it.

 

Haye broke two contracts with Klitschkos. Vitali and Vlad want to knock him out ASAP! Haye has gone into hiding. Vlad beat Chagaev for WBA belt, so Haye only has it on paper.

 

Haye is interested in MAKING MONEY. PERIOD.

I think he lost the desire to clean up the heavyweight division (if he was ever serious in the first place).

I think something happened:

1) He got dropped or rocked in sparring by a heavyweight journeyman and thought ''How can I beat the Klitschko brothers if this bum can drop me? I'd better rethink''

2) He was intimidated by Vitali and Wlad, face to face. They confronted him over the T-shirt and he basically sh%t himself :scaredas:

3) He was never serious about fighting Wlad and Vitali and has been playing the public all along to make as much money as possible

4) He'll prove me wrong, and actually sign to fight Wlad or Vitali this year
