I think that is the problem.

1) He hasn't earned the right to **** talk.

2) He isn't very good at it. He has nothing approaching wit. Some guys are master of the put down or the quick one-liner. He has nothing. He just says thoughtless ******* stuff.

3) It's easy to do and common.

Haye reminds me of Bhop a little, he doesn't really know what he is saying, but he keeps talking until it kind of makes sense and a little numerous. I like it.

 

When are people going realise that a certain amount of **** talking is good for the sport. Imagine if all fighters were like the Klitchko's "thanks you, thanks you". Fair enough they seem like nice blokes but they're ****in' boring man.

Do you despise Tyson and Ali when they talked ****? You need a mixture of gob shites like Mayweather and Haye and people who don't talk **** to make it interesting.

When Haye Ko's Valuev in 3 days time we can all sit here and say....well.....he can talk ****....he backs it up.

 

It grates me like ****, all these Klit bum boys out "ooh Haye disrespected Wlad, it's not fair". They seriously need man up and find their bollocks. It's just words.

 

If he does so, he will have backed it up. BUT, it will not change the fact that it is not clever, and not funny. It is just ******* talk. He doesnt have charisma. Acting the moron alone does not give one charisma. It is all fairly shallow and puerile.

 

Haye has been given the '**** talking' role in the fight. That's why. He's the one doing most of the promotion and he's essentially adopted this character. Anyone who's followed Haye for the majority of his career will know that he's essentially playing a massively exaggerated version of himself now in order to sell more PPVs.

It's not like, I don't know, James Toney talking **** and very clearly believing it. Haye is barely stifling laughter at times. Haye's antics are intentionally cartoonish, hence the t-shirt, hence the mask.

 

Ive met Haye a few times personally and he actually a nice bloke, he knows what he is doing and he would NOWAY have got a title shot this early without his **** talking. So it has done exactly what Haye wanted it to do. Also, unless you are from the British Isles you wont realise his **** talking has made casuals aware of him, and he will probably sell a lot more fights this weekend because of it, again, doing what he wanted. Its a facade made to raise his profile, and its working! It may have made alot of boxing fans get angry with him, but he knows all will be forgiven if he wins impressively this weekend!

Now Naz, he was just a first rate **** on every level, he still is!

I don`t like Haye but he never ran off from the Klitschkos. If he wins this fight i`m damn sure he`ll be desparate to get them.

1.) He dominated the cruiserweight division.
2.) He is good at it. That is just a matter of opinion.
3.) It's all about hype and selling the fight. Despite being a freak of nature, Valuev is boring as hell.

 

1) He was a good cruiser. But he fought all of 2 title fights. He hardly cleared out the division. Or if you consider it cleared out, that is only a testament to it being the single weakest division in boxing.

2) No, he is not good at it. That is a matter or fact.
