Wladimir is as finished an article as he can be.

Haye is work in progress. So yes Haye can improve dramatically, which would put him way above Wladimir's other oppentents.

We need to see the progress first.

The heavyweight division has been dominated by old has beens. I can not see any of Wladimir victims except Haye being a threat in previous eras.

He didn't fight like a *****, and the man in the ring, Wladamir Klitschko, didn't seem to think so either.

But yes Haye has a lot of room and time to improve, no shame losing to Wlad, who is not only better trained and more technically sound, but far, far more experienced, with twice the number of fights.

Haye is a very good fighter and should definitely continue, perhaps challenge again when he has a little more HW experience.

I certainly don't. Haye simply employed the wrong tactics against Wlad. I said before the fight that his only chance was to 'bumrush' Wlad and really go for it in the first few rounds....a **** or bust approach. Trying to outjab Wlad was plain ridiculous

Indeed, though I wouldn't really agree he tried to outjab him.

Athletically he was brilliant, Wlad himself commented that 'he was so fast, he matched me for every move, and I wasn't slow'

With a different game plan he may do, and could have fared better

some guys on this site are crazy..what fights where use watching wlad was clinging on for dear life he hit wlad with more than usuall??lmao...the fight i watched was a lighter guy staying on the outside useing lateral movement to not get hit.he didnt even turn up to fight he just had the idea that one punch was going to end it.yet low and behold when it landed nothing happend..did haye do better than previous opponents??no he done the same..some come to fight and get stopped some come to survive haye came to survive and looked terrible..i think its way to late for him to change his ways even with roach..khan only had a few things to iron out haye has alot of kinks that need changed and at 31 he just isnt going to do it...plus you have to consider how much rehab hes going to need for his broken toe lol

Haye didn´t even show up to fight. He showed up to survive. Cannot believe the amount of Brits still being duped by this pretender.

Wlad was being very charitable in his assessment. See what Steward has to say on Haye´s ¨performance.¨ The truth is Haye ended up looking like an amateur, swinging wild overextended punches sporadically, that wreaked of desperation and lack of a gameplan. It was obvious from very early on that he was affraid of Wlad´s shadow and was there only to survive. There is absolutely no reason to believe that Haye does better, even if he had Steward and Vitali in his corner.

The sooner people realize the klistchko's are currently unbeatable when you look at the possible opposition the better.

A refined version of Arreola is the only one that jumps out to me as being capable of beating Wlad. Comes forward, constant pressure, brave and tough, very good power, throws in combinations. Just needs strategy.
