Haye is the real deal, but he may need a new trainer.

adam booth is good, but if he wants to add someone else he should go for either freddie roach or mustafa muhammad.

Booth has done great wih Haye and I'd be weary of changing what is currently working. Personally I think Roach would do wonders with him but they would need time to gel and for Haye to adjust.

if ali was boxing today, fans would of been screaming for him to change trainer when he got knocked down by cooper, but the truth is theres more to trainers than just training. booth has been with haye since haye was a kid, he knows haye inside-out, and knows everything about haye. haye has belief in him, and booth has belief in him. they have succeeding in everything they have said they will do, so the question is why change something that has been so successful?

Haye is all speed and power and little more. He's one of the most ambivalent fighters out there, he achieved big things vs. good opposition, but either looked bad and vulnerable in spectacular performances (Mormeck, Barrett, Ruiz), or simply dull and boring but more mature (Valuev).

He has so many issues he'll sooner or later will pay for, but then again, it takes a special fighter to fight through these issues and make his speed and power do the job. Saturday's was an another prime example of that, sloppy and still all over Ruiz, but that's not enough vs. the Klitschkos or even a Chagaev. I'd agree, he needs a better trainer.
