Haye's latest statement. So was this it?

Wlad isn't giving Haye a rematch and Haye doesn't want face Vitali.

I'll leave the translating of this statement for someone less kind than I.

It's a real story; I read it too:

TRANSLATION: I don't want to fight Vitali.

If there was any chance of a Vitali fight he'd be a fool to not take it..because the next fight if he got past Vitali (if he believed he could) would obviously be Wlad!! He'd have the WBC belt in that case! Another fast track shot at the top..without earning it!

So its either he dont believe he could win or more likley he just doesnt think that fight is really there for him as the money is what he's all about really. And even if he did get offered a shot at Vitali or Wlad he'd be a challenger with no ace cards to play..so couldn't command anything close to 50/50. Would he be up for that? We'll see!

If the Klits want Haye again its easy enough...lets see if there's any more of the likes of Wlads last silent movie...which was funny but it would if more came out be a good way of stirring up some new talk..and hype for another fight.

    Then retire.

I actually think Haye's style would be better against Vitali.

I don't. Haye has the perfect style to beat a straight line jabber which was Wlad; upper body movement and angles to make them overreach / miss and then counter. Vitali has far better coordination than Wlad and this sense of punches coming, HE beats you to the punch and times you, Haye would be absolutely ineffective, no jab to counter, no weak chin to exploit, just sheer unpredictablity. Wlad as a target is there but managed to move away. Vitali is just nowhere even if he's right in front of you with both hands down, he dares you to open up and before you know you got countered. He'd out-Haye Haye.

I think Vitali has slowed down suffiecently for Haye to make at least a good fight of it.
