That announcement was made 12 hours ago and it is still nothing more than a vague allegation. Nothing else has been said about it. Simultaneously, rumors have filtered from the Haye camp about a bad back.

The ESPN article means nothing. Just check google news reports for the latest articles; sports writers are getting suspicious of Haye.

It would be insane if the injury is fake and its that last thing Haye wanted to do to get under Wlads skin.

Haye was getting very nervous. Haye wanted the fight, Vlad did not have to give him a shot, now he ducks out after all that talk. If this was such an easy knockout for Haye, they why did he back out?

It's what probably happened. Watch some bull**** go down in a couple of days how the xray or whatever Haye took was labeled with a different name and he's really fine.

Why would all parties involved call off the fight,if they weren't sure Haye was injured? :?

I am very disappointed for the cancellation....
And I don't believe the excuses that they have come up with, I think that Haye was planning this from the very first moment

Um, yeah it's unbelievable that there wasn't a middle of the night press conferance called. Haye's training camp is in Northern Cyprus, but I'm sure the world's media all have correspondents there all waiting for the latest news... :nut

wow, I hope reality hasn't suddenly hit him and he's realised he's facing a 6ft 7inch True heavyweight. I respected Haye for taking on such a big challenge and hope he hasn't buckled under the pressure. Let's hope it's an actual injury for his sake.

The announcement was made yesterday and it's now the morning in Cyprus so it hasn't actually been that long.
