Apparently Klit and Hayes american advisers said to each other 'lets get this fight done''

Heres a section of the article

And Costello added that the cancellation could be good news for people wanting to see Haye fight a Klitschko.
"Almost immediately, Klitchsko's American advisors spoke to Haye's American advisors and said 'let's try and get this fight done - it's a fight that the sport needs'," said Costello.
Since then, Haye's personal manager Adam Booth has met with Haye's American promoters Golden Boy - who put on Amir Khan's WBA light-welterweight defence over Marcos Maidana on Saturday - to discover what terms they are prepared to accept, and offer.
"If you're wondering why two American sides are trying to negotiate a fight between a Ukrainian and a Brit, it's simply because their two sides have reached such a deadlock that they are barely on speaking terms," added Costello.

    "They're almost acting as mediators.
"But the other issue is that they want the fight. It would be a monster fight for Vegas, as it would be in Britain and Germany. So the venue might be one of the sticking points."

Lets hope the results of this are positive and we can see a haye/klit fight.

Chisora already said he would not take ANY amount of step aside money, so Wlad will be fighting for the WBA, while Haye would simply be defending because I'm pretty sure the IBF and WBO will strip Wlad for failing his contractual obligation with DC.

If I'm Wlad, I finish this Del Boy problem quickly, maybe next month, and schedule a fight with Haye for early summer late spring.

Either way, the only reason Haye is making out like he really wants this is because of the Delboy situation. Had Wlad rolled DelBoy over last night, burnt his little ass, and called Haye out from the victory circle, then Haye would be talking more about the unfair deal.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. 100% truth right here folks. It is this simple but for some folks this is too complex a statement to truly understand and excuses shall be made.

From what I've read, Wladimir does NOT have to fight Chisora next. Team Klitschko has to give their decision to Chisora within 30-days. However, that decision does NOT have to be agreeing to fight Chisora, it could simply be that they are moving on to another opponent.

That's the way I read it, I could be wrong though....

Here's what I was referring to, it appears that Wlad is free to fight whoever he wishes.

Where'd you read that? From what I understand, because of the fact that it was for the straps, that if Wlad pulls out of the contract, he leaves his belts in the hands of the sanctioning bodies, and Haye KNOWS this.

Wladimir has the ability to actually hurt Haye more than Vitali does, imo. Haye should be scared of both.

Yeah, I posted a little prematurely. I didnt get a chance to read that first. Wlad is a sly dog if he's able to get outta this.
This was a bad fight for him from the start. It wouldnt do anything for his legacy, and I cant imagine the $$$ was needed.

So yeah, it would be nice if he's able to back this thing off until DelBoy is legit, and Haye is a memory.

I hope this will work into something, but given Haye and that wacky Booth's actions over the last two years, you never know what nonsense they'll come up with to ruin it..........yet again.

Booth is apparently like dealing with an immature child who has no clue what he's doing.

I think he knows exactly what he's doing. First off, he's gone what 5 HW fights all the while calling out the bros, and still hasnt had to step it up.

If he fights Adamek and Tarver next, then maybe Sprott or Sosnowski or guys of that calibre. He still makes mad loot, building each of these contests up while calling the bros out between each of these fights.

He beats all the smaller HWs rather easily IMO, and those are the guys he'll fight until his retirement. Small guys and pretenders.
Oh, except he might squeeze a true HW in there like Michael Grant or David Tua or Ollie McCall, someone to that degree of talent.

Booths calling out of the brothers is good business sense for his fighter, because it raises the ante on his tomato can fights like Audley.

You have an interesting outlook on this, I'll admit that, but it's not one I agree with.

Haye probably will avoid these two guys, but I am not sure how beneficial that is, in the long run, to Haye.

As I see it, Booth and Haye backing up their mouthing and actually fighting one of them, and losing, that loss, and the resulting rematch, would earn him more than he will fighting the Audley's and Sprott's of the division for the rest of Haye's career ( one more year, supposedly???).

Vitali already offered them a 50 50 split of everything. That would probably eclipse whatever he'll make fighting two or three of these C level fighters.

Booth don't know what he's doing, if you ask me.

you dont need step aside money with a voluntary defense...chisora is just gonna be **** out of luck...he was lucky enough to be in the same room with wlad and have his pic taken with him
