I believe Haye was made to walk across the muddy ground and his shoes got soggy which is why he ended up fighting in trainers. I think it was Klitschko gamesmanship/cheating, always wanting an edge. But it is quite amusing due to Haye's own obnoxiousness.

 

I don’t know about that. Haye fought Chisora in trainers too.

I would like to know the reason why Haye preferred to wear trainers, probably something to do with injuries, and feeling more comfortable with them than boxing boots.

Are you for real? DM EASILY beat Virgil Hill who's a HOF fighter.. Hill defended his LHW WBA strap 20 times over two separate reigns & he also won the WBA CW title TWICE too. His only loss coming into the DM fight was to ATG Hearns. No shame in that. Hill originally took the strap off 3 time Champion Leslie Stewart. As champion he has defended against names such as Maske, Thadzi, Tate, Del Valle, Tiozzo, Washington (who KOd Barkley) etc.. that's a great win for DM. You have poor boxing knowledge you mate.. yes Otke was a protected German cash cow who's cards were always pre filled but DM was fkin legit.
