Does anybody know what the situation is with HBO and Khan tv dates? Im assuming the Khan fight will just be on regular HBO and delayed. GB and SKy have Khan and Haye so surely there could have been some negotiation on moving the Khan fight to accommodate Haye v Wlad. Much much bigger fight.

Does anyone have idea on what ballpark the fights worth would be? Let's say that it would get 400K HBO PPV's and 1,2M on SBO.

Chagev shouldn't be any sort of problem. He looked very bad against Walker and had lost muscle and gained 'baby fat'.

I dont think it would be PPV in both countries cause of the time difference. 10-11 pm start would probably do 1.2m in the UK.

No idea about anything but Sky, but if the fight is marketed well I see it doing between 1 and 1.7 million buys @ £15 a pop. Anyone wanna do the maths

I think for the Valuev fight Haye received £5 of every PPV sold.

Early morning but Hayemaker and K2 are in control of this one so it will be on GMT.

Well you know why Adamek has chosen to fight Wlad then. There's no way he win the event against Vitali. He might win the boxing match, but there's no way on earth Vitali loses the event

@ 1 million buys then the gross pot to be split from UK PPV between Wlad & Haye = 1 million buys * 5 GBP = 5 million GBP = 6 million EURO = 3 million EUR each fighter.

That's the "extra" Haye brings to the table. Nice, but for the "biggest fight of the decade in Europe" didn't we all expect a bit more? I guess it speaks volumes about the business side of boxing. Like many other entertainment industries (movies, music etc.) the best days such as the 90s are long gone.

Anything can happen, but they genuinely don't like each other, and the distrust, which is real, between the camps is a barrier to them ever agreeing on everything.

K-2 feels Booth and Haye are intentionally trying to waste their time, to make Wlad spend as much of his prime sitting and doing nothing as possible, and to wait out Vitali until he retires.

Haye has also obviously not enjoyed fighting as a heavyweight as much as he'd hoped to do, and is looking to get out quick.

The K-Bros know this and will be content to let him leave and to pick up his vacated WBA belt from someone else.

Your scenario may come to pass, but I doubt it. It's looking less likely by the day.

I agree that they'll get it together..... eventually.

I think this latest round of media exchanges probably havent come as surprise to either Booth/Haye or K2. A bit more acrimony helps keep the idea of a (Haye/any Klitschko) fight in the public conciousness whilst one of both parties fulfil prior contractual obligations.

Once those are out of the way, the $$$ on offer will finally persuade all parties to put any lingering posturing on hold. I'd assume that then one brother will take on Adamek the other Haye.

small correction. neither can reach good tv contracts because each still is under contract with competing companies for one more fight. wlad/ chisora, and haye fights chagaev....then they are both free and can make the fight...the mystery question remains. why the adamek fight for vlad- should he not stay available....and here is the kicker...vlad wont fight adamek- the contract includes a clause that clearly states vlad doesnt have to follow through with the fight and can be replaced by vitali at any time. so after vlad and haye have one more fight , they are both free, and vitali steps in to fight adamek, while haye and vlad can discuss the fight without any tv, contracts in the way
