Haye Klitschko venue named!

Does anyone have mates as annoying as mine?

Every week they complain about the same old boring stuff, it's shite round here, bla bla bla so I ring a few.

"You up for Haye v Klitschko in Germany, found flights for £40, we'll just go for a night, £200 should cover it so not to bad given the occasion"

"Dunno, I might"

"The flights might go up soon as its a weekend anyway, Brits travelling etc so gotta be quick if possible"

"Yeah I might, its just the money aint it?"

"Its over 2 months away, we get the flight sorted now, a hotel can be reserved not paid for and if you save £20 a week till the event you're laughing, i'll get ya ticket and you can pay me nearer the time if you want". Bear in mind this mate works and lives at home, no kids so he cant be that skint!

"Yeah I might do mate, i'll see"

"JUST SAY YES OR NO PLLLEEEASSSEEE"

I know im pushy like but its only because I actually....you know...like to have a life!

Just doing a little working out and I reckon I could get this done for £322 for flights, accom and fight tickets (assuming they're under £50 each) for 2 people.

That's £161 each plus whatever you wanna spend on eating, drinks and other stuff. Bet you I can't get anyone to agree to go. It was the same story with the Froch Pascal fight.

 

Yeah its pretty decent price wise for a Brit in a heavyweight title fight abroad really aint it?

I can already picture me sitting round a mates watching this with them lot sitting there saying "we should of gone to this" and me thinking "well I did ****ing suggest it"

So if they aint up for it I might just go on my own, ive been around the world on my own I can manage Germany!

 

OK, so I really, really fancy going to see this. Flights to dusseldorf from birmingham are dirt cheap and apparently its easy to get a train to gelsenkirchen from there.

But accomodation is the big killer for me. Does anyone know if the folks at eventtravel.com are likely to do hotel/ticket packages for the fight as it would make things a heck of a lot easier?
