You can use amature ,professional ,british or chinese scoring criteria ,you can let booth or hayes mom count what's landed and anybody will tell you, Wlad won wide UD, he won 10 rounds and neither booth nor haye denying it .
As bad as Haye made Wlad look, Wlad did everything he could to catch that slick little *******. He threw punches from angles, doubled and tripled the jab, hooked off the jab, led with the right hand......about everything he could do to get his hands on Haye. That said, Haye ran for dear life for 2:30 of each round only to lunge in with an OH R at the end of most rounds. There is only so much a guy can do to get the other fighter to fight. This is HW boxing, and if Wlad were to pull a Vargas, standing there with his hands pointing at his chin, he coulda been KTFO. He did all he could and to no avail. I doubt a rematch would produce different results, but if it is to be, I'd watch it again.
Perfectly posted. I would add that I was surprised at Haye's defense & the fast head/upper body movement. That caused Wlad a lot of problems and he wasn't as accurate as he usually is.
I said before the fight that David Hayes fans would be disappointed, and that he would run faster than he did against Valuev. It was just a payday for him. Is it not just a little bit funny how he planned out his retirement and his biggest payday right around the same time.
Neither fighter had the eye of the tiger or a sense of urgency TBH. There were flickers of it sure......but for 90% of the fight, both fighters looked as though they were going through the motions. Sucks for us fans.

what you dont think he tried? where was Haye with EVERYTHING he said he would do? Haye didnt want to be KO'd..... you think its easy to KO a guy that doesnt want to be.... haye was basically running at the end except part of the 12th and at that time wlad was landing some of his best
You are talking about Haye more than Wlad, my question was not about Haye. Where was the 'pizza face' and the 'steel hammer KO' in the 12th?
