Photograph: Martin Meissner/AP [url] This content is protected [/url]'s widely-anticipated world heavyweight title fight with This content is protected appears in further doubt after Adam Booth, his manager, claimed the Ukrainian has been offered the terms he wants but is still refusing to sign a deal. Haye, the WBA heavyweight champion, wants a unification fight against Klitschko, who holds the IBF, IBO and WBO belts, before his planned retirement next year. "I have been negotiating with Bernd Boente, Klitschko's manager, and two days ago I offered him a 50-50 split of everything, including the British pay-per-view money," Booth said. "And that the fight could be on RTL [the German TV station] and could be held anywhere they wanted to make the most revenue, including in Germany. "Those were the only two points we were negotiating. But Boente came back and said: 'No point continuing. Forget about it. You do your fight and we'll do ours.' Wladimir was copied in on all the emails so I don't know why they are refusing. That is the question Boente refused to answer. Either Wladimir does not want to fight David Haye or it is because they have this deal with RTL and they want to get that fight out of the way." Haye said: "We have now ticked every box they have asked us to tick and I just hope Wladimir is as eager to fight as he tells everyone he is. We have removed every possible excuse and have shown we are serious about making this fight become a reality. I'll smoke him out if I have to. I only pray Wladimir is as serious as we are, because this fight needs to happen for the good of the sport." Boente had a different view of the talks: "Adam Booth is talking complete nonsense. What he is not saying is that he has told me that if there is another German TV deal for the fight that is better than RTL then we should pay the difference. We have to honour our contract with RTL. Even if ARD [the rival German broadcaster] were to offer to pay more it would only be €300,000-€400,000, which is peanuts when compared with the worldwide pay-per-view [receipts]. "I am now in Florida and Wladimir is near where I am. I called him and he said he would love to have the fight." Vitali Klitschko, the WBC heavyweight champion, claimed his younger brother is ready to take on Haye. He told the Russian newspaper, Golzka: "Wladimir is ready to fight Haye. It is always Haye who comes up with the excuses. Last year we had a signed contract and that wasn't enough. Haye has the last remaining title that doesn't belong to a Klitschko. There are no problems with us to make a fight with Haye." A 50-50 split of the lucrative pay-per-view receipts had been viewed as a major stumbling block. Last month Boente said: "If we don't get 50% of the English television, a fight with Wladimir or Vitali will never happen." If the fight does not happen it may clear the way for Dereck Chisora to meet Klitschko after his fight with the younger brother earlier this month was called off when Wladimir pulled a stomach muscle. Booth said: "Boente said he wanted this resolved by 4 January as they have to decide whether to fight Chisora." Frank Warren, Chisora's manager, confirmed that Klitschko's management will resolve the issue by 11 January. He said: "We have received a letter saying they will let us know within 30 days [from when the bout was called off] if Wladimir will take on Dereck, so that means by around 11 January." You keep up. What I posted is less than 12 hours ago in the news. Show me a source that says the fight is truly on besides someone on ESB saying so. My post is directly from the news not my head. Ps- I read that post and that thread. It means nothing!
Means **** untill the fight is signed and takes place. There is no contract. Are you all that ****ed up? If you must grasp, do so, makes you look pretty stupid though!
the guys desperate as **** show me the source!! *source shown* its eastsideboxing that **** dont count!! *another source shown* **** i dont believe that!
My point is the Klitschko's said Haye has a choice of who he wants to fight if he does fight a Klitschko. Ok, nice. No fight is signed, THERE IS NO FIGHT AS OF YET. And everyone is going crazy thinking there is like it is written in stone. Do people get my point? At this point it means nothing.
everybody knows the fight isnt signed...:huh:huh:huh suggest you go back in your box with plenty of straw and wake up in march and the fight will be a done deal....:yep:yep:yep
The fixmaker will "never!!!!!!" fight the Klitschkos! he backed out of three fights, it wont hurt him to make it four..........
I think its clear that no one gets your point. The fight isn't signed, OK. But its looking likely that it will be. So there are no supposed facts stating otherwise is clearly false.
