Oh yes, except for the unfortunate end to the hundred years war, we **** them up all the time. Particularly in the peninsula war, we really ****ed them up then haha
people have been telling him that for his last 19 fights.... this was a good win, but haye just didn't look anywhere near as fresh as his brief appearance at HW. i think its difficult to gage how well he'll do at the higher weight using examples of his cruiserweight fights because he is just a different fighter when he isn't weightdrained
I actually dont know an awful lot about the Peninsula war apart from that it seemed to start the demise of Napolean.
What a finish by Haye. He had a few troubles in there(that he admitted to) but he kept his composure, took his time and finished the job of in style. From round 1 I always felt that with the body shots Hyae was laying in, that there was only so long Mormeck could continue to take them. Hyae could rarely get any of the head shots in, but he was working the body a treat. He got caught in the forth and was hurt. His legs went and Mormeck never had enough about him to get the job done. Up until the seventh round I had the fight even. Haye was getting back into it more and you could see Mormeck was tiring. A great combination from Haye and the final shot was a beauty. Took Mormeck out, put him down and even when getting up, you could see from his eyes that he was gone. People can put it down all they want. Haye went into the guy's backyard and stoped him to become regonised as the best Crusierweight in the world. I hope he stands by his decision to vacat the titles and go up to Heavyweight on a regular basis. That is where we will see the undoubted best of David Haye. What a victory!
I don't know but Mormeck beat the count and he wasn't wobbling or dazed. IMO it was a shaky call by the ref.
