Good performance by Haye. He did the job.

There is still a question mark over his chin.

Haye is the fastest HW out there.

Was a decent fight from Haye, he is typically cagey. He will be at HW, but then I think he can win rounds that way and it allows him to counter punch.

This fight was always going to be worrying for Haye. I say-

Haye K.O Wlad (those unorthodox shots Haye throws will compensate for the lack of the usual pressure that freaks Wlad out, he will worry him and get him on ***** street before landing a Hayemaker and finishing him. I see Haye's movement frustrating Wlad)

Vitali K.O Haye; the bombs of Haye will not bother the eldest of the Klitschko brothers. He WILL land on Haye at least a few times, and I believe that's all it will take. I'm still unsure as to whether Haye was seriously hurt of not when Barrett him whilst he was down.

Was it just me it did it look like he was on rubbery legs?

he just showed the already known speed and power, good stuff but against someone like Vitali that won't be enough.

Awesome fight, but Haye needs to stay busy now and fight someone a lot more dangerous before he takes on either Klitschko. It was a good performance tonight but I saw a lot of things Haye will need to improve on if he wants to beat the brothers. I hope he can do it!

Not the world's greatest fight, but I did show that:

    1. Haye is very fast
    2. Haye is very daring / fights a risky style that could get his chin tested
    3. He's got good, but not Bazooka power
    4. He's fun to watch and should shake up the division

    Good performance.

He looked quick and powerful and his reflexes looked quite sharp.

He got hit a few times, not flush but still decent glancing shots. Was good to see he took them well. I still think he goes down if he gets hit flush but its good to see he doesn't react badly to glancing, half powered shots like Khan does (i.e. Khan's knees stiffening of Presscotts jab). You can't tell the whole picture from one fight but from this offereing it atleast looks like hes not completely glass jawed like some thought he would be at heavyweight.

A negative point is that he did seem to be looking for the one big counter punch a bit to much for my liking. For now i will put this down to him wanting to make a big impact in his first proper heavyweight fight. Against the sturdier heavys he will have to wear them down a bit more and not just load up on big shots. Also against the tentative Wlad he will have to force the issue a bit more. He can't just look to counter against the gun shy Wlad. Wlad will barely throw his right, especially in the early rounds so Haye will have to use those quick feet and good head movement to get inside of Wlad's jab.

    Overall though a good performance.

    Well done David.

Prime Barrett? Barret isn't even the gate keeper.

It was a good performance, Barrett was starting to get desperate which made Haye look a little wild at times, but his head movement and hand speed were fantastic and his power has carried up without a problem.

The slip in round 5 where Barrett hit Haye on his knees showed his chin isnt going to be china, but i do still think he could be ko'd by a big shot,
I dont think Haye was hurt what so ever in the fight, and i think his reaction in the 5th to the cheeky illegal shot Barrett threw was perfect...KO.
