The real question is : Will KOing someone with as flimsy a record as Haye enhance his legacy much at all ?

If? Haye will brutally KO that punk-ass Klit within the first few rounds, guaranteed.

Wlad doesn't have any sort of mentionable legacy and never will, the no-talent *****.

No Haye's record won't mean much. The only thing that will enhance Wlad's record will be that Wlad predicted he will pizza-face Haye and then following through with it in the ring.

That will enhance Wlad's legacy just like Ali enhanced his by predicting to knock out Moore in four!

2nd of all...this is a good fight for Waldo, finally a legit big punching threat. Boxing can rejoice that this fight is taking place. Mac/Mayweather are you listening?!

If Wlad can't land that left hook it may very well happen.

More than likely though, this fight will be a tenative affair that may end up going to the scorecards.

If that's the case, it will favor Wlad, especially as the local fighter.

HOWEVER, if Haye manages to knock him down once or twice in the process, he SHOULD win a decision.

Legacy? It will only make a difference to Wlad's fans. At the end of the day they don't rate Haye now, has many people don't at heavy. So why then should it be looked at has an impressive win on Wlads resume.
The reality is Wlad is once again fighting an over-matched opponent, who seems to stand more chance of beating him than any of the non-fighters he has faced since Brewster.
The way i see it is Wladimir should thank his lucky stars he has a fight of such magnitude to compete in, and let's face it that the fight is this big, more because of David Haye than Wlad.
Wlad is an excellent Jab, right hand fighter. That is it. No inside game at all . Panics under pressure. 6"6 and no uppercut to speak of in his arsenal.
Manny Steward done a great job with the strategy of Wlad, but an ATG legacy fighter. I don't think so.
His legacy is that he cautiously got the better of overmatched opponents for an extended period of time, during the worst era in history. Plus he was largely unwilling to travel.
Put Wlad or Haye in with any top 20 ATG and i don't see either being victorious. IMHO

What a dumb and ignorant argument.

Look up the EURUSD currency prices for 2000 - 2011 and you will see a strong preference for Wlad to box where he gets paid in EURO ever since the US Dollar headed for the toilet.

Why would he travel to the US with the Dollar worth it's weight in toilet paper and get paid less fighting fat American nobodies in front of a 5,000 audience?

Anything can happen in boxing, should Wladimir get stopped I see an immediate rematch in the makings.

Why wouldn't he be able to land it?

If old shot Ruiz and Barrett can catch him with jabs and knock him back with them, Wlad will have little problem landing on Haye.
