Normally you should never look beyond your next opponent. But when it is Ruiz I think that is risk free

Yeah i agree. Will be good for him to face (hopefully) the Klits's on the back of a big knockout in his hometown though.

damn, this is gonna be a ugly fight, what two opponents to have Valuev and then Ruiz straight after eachother, there's gonna be alotta presure on Haye to "look good" in this fight which won't be easy to do imo.

personally i think Haye can afford to look past Ruiz. Doesnt really need 100% focus to beat Ruiz, just needs to be in decent shape.

I think he's actually really looking forward to Ruiz, and defending in the UK. I think he'll want that knockout so he'll be focused.

I think he knows he will beat Ruiz with one hand tied behind his back that is why he is looking forward to the fight and sparking an American out in England is always a sweet thing.

Yea because Haye has beaten sooo... many opponents superior and experienced to Ruiz....

Nah, I don't see how Haye can half train for this fight and think it in the bag without even trying.

Nah don't sleep on Ruiz. He's got enough to dirty tricks up his sleeve to make it a hard night's work for Haye. David better be in shape and ready to prove a point. His best chance is by KO, because I can see Ruiz stealing rounds off him and spoiling as the fight goes on.

However, I also think that Haye's speed and power is enough to really give Ruiz nightmares. Ruiz is at the end of his career, and having to fight someone who can unload fast, accurate and deadly shots is not something he's going to enjoy at all. He may get lucky if Haye blows his load early and tires out, ala Thompson, but that's just about Ruiz's best hope.

Haye is a clear superior talent, but Ruiz is a dangerous fight for him. The fact that Haye is already looking past him will not help.

Ruiz is a hard worker, blue collar fighter, a master in the tatics of spoiling and frustating, plus he has the owner of the WBA in his promoter DKP.

Haye better bring his A game into this fight, not to leave open any chances. I'd hate to see Ruiz back in the picture once again.

Vitali wants to knock Haye out now, but Haye is still running from he and Vlad.

Haye will want a good KO performance against ruiz, he knows that by blowing the guy out in a one sided performance will only get the hype tyrain in override and maybe even make the K bros nervous
