"Hey i heard lennox is coming back, if he does it will be him and my brother can fight Haye".

The idea that Vitali is frightened at the prospect of fighting Haye is laughable.

I really wanna see that fight. It'd be tremendously entertaining while it lasts.

 

And yet, I think I detected fright (or at least, concern) in Vitaly's demeanour.

 

I'm way bigger than Haye and Vitaly's alot bigger than me, i'd say the giant Ukranian could eat Haye in one sitting.

 

Not to start anything buuut...how?

 

Well, he was probably wondering if he would get off with manslaughter or would murder charges be laid against him.

He might also have worried about how to look Haye's kinfolk, especially his mother, in the eye, after killing Haye.

That's just for starters.





Also,

Would he be viewed as a monster after the fight ?

Would he be blamed for injecting new life into the BAN-BOXING movement ?

Would he be partially responsible for Haye's burial costs ?


Things like that were probably flashing through his mind.

 

They're sitting down ffs. Post fight interviews in the uk are always conducted after a doctors examination and while sitting on the ring apron.

 

Vitali thought Haye would take care of the fight in 5 rounds or less, and so Haye did. Vitali didn´t look surprised or phased in any way at all. He was his usual self. The one thing that caught my attention is how Haye didn't trash talk Vitali like he did Wlad.

 

:nut I don't give Haye much chance but nobody just walks through his punches.

 

That's because Vitali's got a temper and Haye knows better than to talk trash to his face.

A good HW at 215 that has power and speed is refreshing. And, he's not 5' 10" either....

I hope Lennox stays away from Vitali
and I hope Haye stays away from Vitali for his own safety.

I like Haye, but he ain't gonna KO Vitali. He could perhaps beat Vitali by making Vitali miss until he injures himself -- that's about it.

Haye figures he has a better chance vs Wlad than Vitali - since Wlad has a chin similar to his own. And as has been pointed out, Vitali has more of a mean streak than Wlad. Haye's only chance vs Vitali is injury or if VK gets old quickly.

A healthy VK in his late 30s most likely stops DH. No neck Peter has more punch resistance than DH - and look what a rusty Vitali did to him. It wouldn't surprise me if Peter - and other HWs - beats Haye
