Let me give you a fact!

Haye had only been a pro for 21 months when he fought Thompson and it was only his 11th pro fight.

At the end of the day Thompson was an ancient, domestic level guy at the end of an average career, no matter how you Hayehuggers try to spin it.

No Haye beat himself in that fight by fighting the wrong fight through inexperience and over exuberence. I'm not even a Haye fan but i have seen many of his fights and i'm getting sick of chumps like you who don't like him, have probably seen him fight once and base the rest on what you read on boxrec.

I have seen plenty of him, don't worry, and I know what the usual excuses of the Hayehuggers are worth. He was beaten by getting punched in the face combined with his fragile punch resistance, that's all there is.
"Brish legend" That's exactly what I'm saying... It's not like that label is a sign of quality. The WBO in the 90's was considered a fringe belt, had very little legitimacy and as mentioned the Cruiserweight division of the 90's had a very poor talent pool. These are the facts. It's not some stats that matter, it what they are worth that counts and they aren't worth alot.

Chef I cannot imagine more than 2-3 was being tossed in Haye's direction.

Not buying the Thompson has a solid chin line, he had been KO'd five times previous to the Haye fight.

You mean I haven't seen this gem of a fight?
You're right, Haye was never hit in the face, it's all a big fraud.

He fell through getting punched in the face. I'm not ripping Haye for losing, everyone loses. My point is that you guys pump Carl Thompson up like he was an ATG and come up with excuses over excuses just to make Haye's loss look better.

I know excuses when I see and hear them. He lost the fight, plain and simple, accept it and and move the **** on without constantly looking for excuses. Why is that so hard?

No,I didn't. He wasn't undisputed at CW and beating Monte Barrett doesn't really warrant a Top 10 ranking or since when is Cliff Couser a Top 10 HW? After all he took care of Barrett faster that Haye.
