    Serious? Nah.

You pay to see a fight and if you get 12 seconds or 12 rounds... thats what you get. It'll always be over too soon in a way. You didn't buy tickets to a Haye fight expecting 12 rounds did ya?

Well, I know that you could either get 12 seconds or 12 rounds. We all know that. I was enjoying the fight, the atmosphere and wanted it to last a bit longer. As for 12 rounds...no, I said 5/6. I thought Enzo would last longer.

I was half expecting 30 seconds so I was happy.

Lennox was nowhere near as unsteady as Enzo was. :-(
Lewis was ****ed over by the ref in that fight.

I agree. Lennox deserved to be given a chance to continue. Macaroni on the other hand.................:verysad

I agree too. I thought the Rahman-Lewis I stoppage was a bit early too. It smacked of them taking any chance for a DK fighter to wrest the crown from the independent-minded Lewis.

As for this fight, Pharaoh is right, although it doesn't need to be the ref's fault. Macca wasn't on the ropes a long time, but if he just could have managed to fall down, instead of sitting on the ropes, then he would've had a much better chance. I've seen it plenty of times: if you go down quickly then you might have a good chance of recovering (e.g. when Lyakhovich took a knee and won the title), but if you struggle to keep yourself upright when you can't properly stand, then the reward is just more free shots for the opponent.

What better opportunity to damage your opponent than when he should really be on the floor, deprived of firmness of limbs? Macca's only chance was to fall down from a couple of shots, instead of sitting on the ropes where Haye could legitimately batter a fallen opponent.

After the punishment Macca received, with any heart the referee had to save the poor lump there and then, not that Macca would have known about it if he'd been sent back for more!

Enzo would have been damaged by the follow up assault from Haye. Good stoppage.

    D'OH!!!!!

I was confusing the two KOs. I'm sorry. I suck. I was very wrong. I thought I should go check which one I was talking about, and I thought, Nah... it'll be fine. I feel like a very big fool.

Haye had found his range and was timing his shots beautifully. With Macca stumbling about and unable to defend himself properly Haye is a man who can inflict serious and permanent damage.

It was plain for all to see that the gulf between the two was too great and the knockout inevitable. Good stoppage.

Good stoppage, Enzo was staggering around like a drunken ****** on acid. But It would have been nice for the referee to let it continue so Haye could land a nice, clean concussive Hayemaker to finish the show.
