I don't know how good a coach Shane McG is but he certainly didn't "make Haye worse" as someone suggested.

Haye retired way back in early 2014 with "career ending injuries", people forget this. Of course Haye isn't 100% honest or reliable but I think there was a great deal of truth to it. Even if he exaggerated his condition then, it was obvious that something was wrong and having accumulated 4 years inactivity by 2016 and several extra pounds on his fragile frame there's only so much a coach can do with that kind of 36 year old athlete.

    Bellew will beat Hate again

    He's done.

His pub style attack before he became disabled was shocking

I think this is most likely.
His fans won't believe it until they see it.
And they will be pay good money convinced they'll be witnessing revenge and the beginnings of some epic comeback run towards cleaning up the division and winning the world titles.

I wouldn't be shocked if any trainer worth his salt thought he should give it up to be honest. It's not possible to coach out a body breaking up.

I made the assumption yesterday before seeing any paper. Then you tell me that my assumption is way off. A day later a paper reports my exact assumption. Why do you think they split? I think it's pretty obvious now that Shane wanted him to retire.

Why are you so upset anyway? Haye should bloody retire. It's so obvious he's just chasing cash since his return. He's nothing left to offer the sport legacy wise.

Haye still has a lot to offer. Lmao at you people "advising" him to retire when if he gets himself fully fit and forces a rematch against Bellew, he will earn several million pounds once again in a PPV and, when he beats him, he can then possibly manoeuvre his way into another multi-million pound PPV fight against one of the HW champions around.

It was pretty obvious Shane asked him to retire. Look at Hayes statement, he can't say enough good about shane yet they've split. 1+1=2 guys, keep up at the back.

I said he's nothing left to offer the sport legacy wise. Fair enough if you want to see him milk the sport for a few more unearned millions but I don't. Beating Bellew would accomplish nothing and my prediction is he breaks down with injury anyway.

He's 36, had years of inactivity, had several career threatening injuries and looked woeful for the whole Bellew fight, not just after the injury. There's no way he's going to anything significant at heavyweight. Get real!

He can't get fully fit mate. He had a short peak. Prob in his mid twenties

He's carrying way too much size for his frame and at 36 you cannot rely on pure muscle and explosiveness.

The alien stayed lean and trained for longevity. Hayes a live fast die young type of athlete . It's gone mate

I would like him to retire cos if he gets "fit" and bellew beats him again can you imagine this guys ego.. I doubt I'd be able to watch sky sports again.

Fair points. I speak with a lot of bias but I still believe Haye can do it. Maybe he can win a "cheap" WBA world title against Oquendo or Ustinov etc.

Fair point about Hopkins, the guy was smart. Stopped doing roadwork to protect his joints and did his cardio in the swimming pool.

Haye goes into the horses mouth as Haye and comes out the horses arse as fecal matter. Right now Haye seems to be stuck between the horses mouth and the horses arse.......................but seriously, Haye must fight Bellew in a rematch, that's the only fight for both, good money fight and I expect Haye to knock Bellew out..................hope this fight happens................
