I'm going with the younger, fresher Haye to pull out a mid rounds stoppage. But either man could be ko'd.
Two great fights in one night, I'm picking Mormeck here simply because I believe he's more experienced at this point.
I give Haye the slight edge in this fight. His youth combined with him being the naturally bigger man are enough to overcome the experience of Mormeck. I thought making the weight would drain Haye but he didn't look bad at the weight in so I don't think he struggled as badly as many expected him to make 200lbs. Haye KO8.
If you can somehow get the french channel canel + than you will be able to see it. I know it is available in the USA. I will be watching this great fight on setanta, they have really delivered on the big fights.
King was bad and Haye is only a boxer : he did nothing to sell the fight. Mormeck is the only one who tried to promote the fight (interviews, TV shows, negociations with Levallois and Canal+) Result : the fight isn't broadcasted, the TV rights are ridiculous, the purses are a joke (100.000$ for Haye, 200.000$ for Mormeck...)
The odds of finding a sports bar that carries the dish that allows to see this network and convincing the owner to show it on the tv screens are about as good as yours truly having sex with my avatar.
Exactly. I think Haye will wear Mormeck - who's ready for the taking - down, and stop him in the mid to late rounds. But I'm not 100 percent confident of this either. Haye has gotten stopped by older fighters who looked ready for the taking before.
