Haye needs to do something before this **** gets old and its starting to. If he doesnt kicK a heavys ass soon one thats familiar at least and start to slowy step it up, he will start to look like just another pretender and hype looking to cash in. Its starting to look like a lot of smoke and mirrors and nothing is happening.
I'd personally like to see Haye fight Toney. They're both big mouths, which will make for exciting press. Toney, as old as he is, is still crafty. And there's the mystique of never being knocked out. Be interesting to put him in there with a real bomber like Haye. If Haye wins, he adds a decent name to his resume. Toney would do likewise if he won, and he could retire with dignity, if he so chooses.
I think it's a wise decision to build his body up. He doesn't wanna jump in the pool and test the waters without being ready. I think the problem is the longer he runs his mouth without fixing an opponent he's going to receive criticism (and prob fairly so). Media wise, it stands to really blow his debut if he doesn't dispose of his challenger in dramatic fashion. He wants to market his product I get that but he sure as **** shouldn't get folks bored by the time he steps between the ropes in a new weight division for the 2nd time.
I agree, Haye hasn't even confirmed his opponent. He's been talking way too much to be wasting all this time. Now people are truly annoyed, and I'm starting to reach that point myself.
Now Haye say "No one wants to fight me" Is he kidding?. There were about 6-7 guys that called him out. Haye is a joke.
Exactly. He has talked enough. He needs to STFU and not say anything about the other HW's until he signs a fight. Then he can talk about his up coming fight. Other posters say that Haye said he was going to take some time off to get in shape for HW. Thats fine, but continuing to talk **** week after week when he cant seem to decide who he wants to fight is a joke. This **** is getting OLD already.
he's certainly not striking while the irons hot. that was 6 months ago. still the fact that we're even talking about him means he did something right and his shittalking worked. for my money, take on monte barrett, then rahman within the next six months. then fight a top-10 every 3 months after that. keep his weight down to 220 TOPS. remember when holyfield made the transition? he usually weighed around 210 but was incredibly fit
I've no respect for a big-mouthed guy who hasn't accomplished ANYTHING in the heavyweight division yet. Prove how good you are or STFU.
I used to like Haye but he's too big for his boots now and a total pain in the arse. He beat Mormeck and Maccarinelli...big ****ing deal. the more he talks the more stupid he's gonna look when, not if, he get laid out by the first decent heavy puncher he faces.
