I hate Bellew and think tonight's performance whilst crippled backs up why I always thought Haye got a raw deal on here from some people. He proved a lot tonight in his defeat.

Tony got the win, sure it may have largely been down to injury but that's what happened and he did what he had to do. It's Bellew's night tonight whether I like it or not.

I'll still be rooting for his next opponent to lay him out cold and shut him up but seeing how wrong I was here he may go on a win streak just to spite me!

I thought Haye looked ring rusty from the first bell and it looked only a matter of time before Bellew had a good spell.

Haye has simply made a fortune in the Heavyweight Division but his legacy is that he stunk it out, blamed his Toe for the Wlad stinker, pulled out of the Fury fight because he knew and got pumped by Anthony Bomber Bellew.

I dont think their was nothing wrong with Hayes foot, yes he went over on it but it wasn't anything major. he was gassed mate and had nothing left.

I disagree man, his foot was clearly ****ed. They strapped it up. He couldn't keep balance, look how he was walking. He wasn't gassed, tiring but then you would boxing with one leg.

You cannot be serious... you think he just randomly started falling over due to being tired?

Some of u talk so much rubbish as usual. Bellew the underdog won via tko so well done to him. Let's have a rematch and no one gets injured and see what happens eh?

I thought after the 7th where it looked like Bellew was looking to finish it up, he'd continue it on in the 8th. His corner obviously had a word and said this is yours, take your time, pick your shots and relax. People slagging off Bellew for not finishing properly, I have to disagree. I think he did the job as he should've. How silly would it have been if he'd have been caught with one of Hayes desperate big lefts which at that point was all he had left. Not here to have a row, I was backing Haye, I'm just showing respect to Bellew. Respect to both fighters.

Up to the injury I though Bellow was doing well. He took Hayes big shots and was holding his own.. Reckon it was 2-2 and it wasn't a one sided blow out...

A couple of things, Tony's power doesn't go up to the heavyweight division, he punched himself out going for the kill, I think he was varying too much fat so he wasn't all that conditioned himself.

Haye's chin is good, he took some big shots and hopped through them...

Not sure where Hay goes from here, if that was a big powerful heavyweight I don't think he has the speed and movement to get out of trouble anymore.

Haye knew 4 years ago that he was finito and Fury would pump him - only back for the PPV money

I reckon only thing for Haye currently is a rematch, then possibly him calling it a day after?
First thing I thought of once it finished up was, there goes the chances of him fighting AJ or Wilder as he'd talked up. Him and Shane McGuigan were saying they were looking at after this fight, but I'd say Haye will only want one more and that will be against Bellew at Goodison.
