The best way to understand it is, he is a person who does sport....

Does that help or are you still struggling?

Is right i'm voting for him.

The Bottom line is, what was the biggest boxing event this year.

Yeh thats right Audley Harrison vs David Haye.

Great build up, epic build up, and a tragic and sad ending. Audley Harrison captured the nation along with David Haye, because of their personalitys and history.

Nobody knows what Carl Froch has been doing, because Mick Hennessy is a fat ****. And the supersixx has been a complete, COMPLETE FAILURE.

Tony McCoy will win it - according to bookies.

And deserves to win it - long overdue.

    Well said PK

Indeed the build up to the Audley Harrison- David Haye fight was truly epic.

We were a nation in fear.

    :D

Got that part, was thinking more along of the lines of does beating a virtually retired fighter and an absolute joke of a fight (i use the term loosely) against a man who if just above journeyman standard warrant a nomination?

Personality...he's attracted people to watch the sport. He's big news, like it or not. He won't win, but they've got some nice KO clips to show now. People know him, that's why.

I remember when JC won, the irony of him winning anything with "personality" in the title
but he got loads of people watching his fights then, and had some big wins.

    Who is sport for...?
The fans...? The man in the arena...?
SPOTY isn't based on greatest achievements often, it's based on who the fans know and like. A popularity contest almost.

How the **** Zara Philips won is beyond me though...seriously, who the **** voted for her?? that needs a ****in enquiry IMO, ridiculous

That is probably the most accurate thing you have wrote.

Can't say the SS has been a complete failure it has given us some great fighters which could not have happened without it.

Frochs achievement on Sat is far superior to anything Haye has done this year.

Listen don't start sugar coating the supersixx, face up to this statement....i am about to say.

"The SuperSixx has been a complete failure............its ****ing utter ****, i cannot stand it, i ****ing HATE it..........and i ****ING HATE talking about it"

If the supersixx was not a failure, Carl Froch would be more well known and a household name in the UK. But the facts are that he is still a No Mark.......

Great fights happen all the time, for area titles, British titles, European titles, world titles"

I'm not questioning weather the supersixx has not made good fights, because it has brought good fights.

But it was meant to bring boxing back to the masses, and give the sport loads of exposure, and promote the sport with the general public and make it popular again.

    But it failed, utter failure..........

Audley Harrison vs David Haye.........was the biggest fight of the year.

    I'm voting for David Haye.

    Flare, Swagger, and Bombs........

I doubt Haye will win as we're a nation living in fear of athletic black boxers.

I would vote for David Haye.
