How many people think the confidence Haye conveys in interviews and everywhere else for that matter is an act rather than a genuine reflection of his inner state?
Yeah I dont think he's amazingly confident, but if he didn't act they way he does he'd never of got a World Title shot.
I saw that as well, may be he was scared of getting a stiff neck! I thought he had a lot of nerves and they did not go until about rd 4. Notice between rds his corner were working on breathing.
haye is xtremely confident. is he gonna trade punches with valuev?? when his right hand is broken?? haye normally only throws 1 punch! the overhand right aka "the hayemaker" so understand if he struggled fighting 1 handed!!! when he comes up against the klits.haye will go to war. wladimir will get brutally ko'd. all it will take is one over-hand right and wlad will be unconcious
When you have the balls to get into a ring with a guy almost 50% heavier than you, you're a confident type of bloke.
My opinion doesn't have much to do with how he fought last night. Obviously he's confident, he's a fighter, but some guys are tougher than others. I'm a fan and I'm not saying this because I dislike him nor do I resent the fact that he is faking it (if he indeed is), in fact I think it's great that his demeanor is what it is, whether it's fake or real. I'm just asking for your opinion. Again, he certainly is confident, otherwise he'd not be in the sport he is, but his demeanor suggest that he's as tough as some of those Mexicans who wouldn't quit under any condition, and I have a suspicion he's not THAT tough.
Yeah the way he was looking down during the staredown and then as soon as the bell rang he started circling the ring, hands high and all focus on not getting hit. He proceeded to do that for all 12 rounds.
