Normally you cant keep him out 2 weeks before a fight, I know Calzaghe has over shadowed everything and Hatton vs Mayweather is soon but Froch vs Ried is getting mroe press than this. Froch had done tv and radio and been in the papers and all over the web, havent seen **** about Haye. Malloney has gotta get his act together!
I dont get it - if I didnt come on here and keep up to date with boxrec i wouldnt even ****ing know about this fight! Somethings going on- Im guessing they're not happy with making Don King money, so they're not bothering to promte at all. I heard someone say the other day they're gonna go over there, get the job done and come straight home. Sounds about right to me. Ive never known anything like it before!
Its a shame becouse, through no fault of his own, Enzo has now become the better known fighter, and so the bigger draw! If they do ever get back to the table he would still demand more money, despite Haye having two belts.
it would be fair to say it should be a 50-50 split but lets forget enzo it will never happen. You would still think he is confident and wants people to see the finest win of his career. Haye has all the attributes but hes promotion is all wrong, say what you want about Warren but if he was Hayes promoter, this fight would be in England and on prime time tv. With Malloney he is gonna have to climb the rankings, no heavy will fight him unless there is big money so thats not gonna happen. He needs a big backer and Warren is the only guy in the UK that can afford it. its killing me to say this!
thats the problem. maloney gets his fighters good fights but is **** at promoting. hennessey is good at promoting but **** at managing.
Its a disgrace. This fight is as big as Hatton v PBF and JC v Kessler with regards to titles. Haye becomes the number 1 cruiser if he wins and the fact we will not be able to watch it is a total farce. Once again the money grabbing fat cats stop the fans from seeing a big fight.
