I'm not convinced that Valuev wants to fight on anyway. Wave a few quid at him and he'll waive the rematch.
Povetkin has the problem of being a decent talent in a horribly shallow division. He gets a few wins and he is the top contender, yet nowhere near ready to be in that position. Having said that I dont think he ever will be. He is like a fusion of Chag and Ibragimov with a bit more stamina and a bit busier. But he is flat footed, plodding, lacks size, lacks power.
Agree. Im a big Povetkin fight and when he was making waves i thought he was the future. But, since the Chambers fight he has gone off the boil, and whilst he still is a good fighter, i dont think he will ever be an elite of the division. I used to think he would beat Haye. And whilst i still think the fight would be competitive (whilst it lasts), Haye has more dimensions and i think is just the overall better fighter.
