Adam Booth's a much better trainer than Enzo Calzaghe. If you've got a working pair of eyes and ears you'd know that, too.

Frank's not Rees cornerman and didn't get Mac to use his jab more. Another trainer would of kept Mac as a puncher but Enzo made him box more.

Since when? If thats all you can say then you havent convinced me otherwise.

All he's done Is have an easy ride with Haye's natural talent and let Haye bulk up too soon to HW while they still had goals at cruiser. He was getting criticism when Haye lost to Thompson, now because of Haye, he's seen as a good trainer.

Did anyone hear the crap that Enzo was shouting at Joe in the Hopkins fight? Its lucky that Joe didnt listen t him or it could have cost him the fight.

I think Enzo gets his fighters in great shape by driving them hard in the gym, but in terms of a boxing coach, I totally agree with Hayes comments.

Enzo talks through his arse...after the Hatton loss to PBF, it was suggested in the British Media ,that a fight could be made with Gavin Rees..but Enzo quashed any notion of that saying "Hatton is a good fighter, but he's got to earn a shot at Gavin":rofl :rofl ****ING DELUDED:rofl :rofl

Here's the conundrum: did Calzaghe underprepare and underperform against Hopkins because Enzo couldn't prepare/train him properly or did Calzaghe win despite underpreparing and underperforming because Enzo did a great job in the corner of giving him the right encouragement and a kick up the arse when he really needed it?

I'm voting for option 2. Enzo might not be a great strategist or trainer but he did a great job on Joe, psychologically. Few others would have known what buttons to press when.

Post that interview on the General Forum, there is quite a bit of interest in Haye on there now and I agree with everything he said in that interview.

Amate of mine was doing security on Macaranellis dressing room door for the Haye fight and he said Enzo Calzaghe was really down to earth and a funny guy....when he could understand him that is.

I think Enzo has done a good job with Joe because I would imagine that at 35 (Joe), he would know what makes his son tick - i.e. when to crack the whip, when to shut up etc, this won't (and clearly didnt) work for everybody.

Why people are bagging Enzo is because he put himself in the firing line by making disparaging remarks about various people, and still didn't shut up, even after Macca lost, which was rather crass.

It's a good job Kotelnik got to Rees before Hatton earned his shot.
