DAVID HAYE has hit the jackpot with his world heavyweight title win over John Ruiz as promoters from both sides of the Atlantic scrap over him.

Golden Boy Promotions want to take Haye to the US, while Berlin-based Sauerland Events hope to put him on in Germany.
And his own Hayemaker Promotions could yet stage his next defence in England.
Oscar de la Hoya of Golden Boy said: "David has the world in his hands.
"It's just the beginning for him. He can really become the next Lennox Lewis, he has all the attributes a fighter needs. He can even become the next Mike Tyson. He's that good."
Haye picked up at least £5million for his ninth-round stoppage of Ruiz to earn the sort of worldwide profile that allowed Ricky Hatton to earn more than £20m for his showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jnr.
A Sauerland Events spokesman said: "I think David can be box office in whatever part of the world he chooses to fight in.
"He has the looks and the personality to go with his high level of boxing skills and we are very proud to have options for his next two fights."
Haye, 29, wants to fight Klitschko brothers Vitali and Wladimir to fulfil his dream of unifying the world heavyweight division.
He said: "Those big unification fights are just down the road now, they are the two I want most.
"They have always fought guys who are clearly overweight and out of shape. I'm not out of shape or just looking for a pay day."
Bernard Hopkins, 45, the former middleweight champion, again challenged Haye yesterday after winning his rematch with Roy Jones Jnr.
But Haye insisted: "It's never going to happen."

    Jones beat Ruiz easily.

Haye fans are now claiming that Ruiz is the greatest heavyweight of all time! LOL! Haye's fight with Valouev was the most exciting fight ever! Yeah, and I have a bridge I will sell you. Ruiz was hit with several illegal blows, yet the ref did not give him time to recover like the ref did to Hopkins in the Jones fight and Terry Norris was disq because of same punch! Howvever, illegal blows will not save coward Haye from Klitschkos. Haye fans claim that the Klitschkos are the worst fighters in boxing history while claiming that Haye is the best in boxing history. How can they get Haye into a ring with Klitschkos? Haye has broken two contracts with Klitschkos. If Haye gets the fight in England, can he cheat his way to a win? I doubt it, not even in England, but it so appears that illegal blows behind the head are legal in England and perhaps that would be Haye's best shot at doing some damage to a Klitschko, but won't be enough. Ruiz could protest the fight, I would not blame him. I do not like Ruiz, afterall, he was easily beaten by Roy Jones and Hopkins beat Jones. Green knocked Jones out in the first round. Tarver stopped Jones and so did Johnson. The same ones who claim that Haye/Valouev was a very exciting fight, claim that Klitschkos are the most boring fighters because they have the highest knockout percentage in boxing. Vitali was a five to 1 underdog when he knocked out Herbie Hide in London! Haye fans give Klitschkos zero chance to last one round with Haye! Wonder what they will say after Klitschkos knock Haye out?!

    You are delusional...........

Haye should have been disqualified for several illegal blows, just like the illegal blow that Terry Norris was disq./lost his title for. Ref gave time for Hopkins to recoup after Hopkins was hit behind the head, but Haye's ref refused to go by the rules.

Good for David! Fighting Hopkins would be a lose/lose proposition. If he beat Hopkins up and knocked him out, he'd get zero credit for a win over a 45 year old career middleweight. If the sneaky old ******* made Haye look bad at all, he'd get crucified.

De La Hoya is shameless sometimes when giving remarks. Haye is no Tyson, no Lewis.

Glad to hear it. This would have been one useless fight. Last night Popkins became Ruiz in a lot of people's minds.

Sorry to hear about your AIDS man.

Anyways, yeah this fight will never occur, After Hopkins performance I cannot see him moving up in weight and winning a belt at Heavyweight against David Haye.
