Haye is wrong when he states that Vitali hasn't achieved anything...and that's his conclusion.

Kickboxers are tough guys...a kick boxing world champion has to be a very tough s.o.b.

Kickboxing is Vitali's origin and for me he is one hell of a fighter. He is a warrior, but he's too intelligent to risk his health for a title. For me this is the only difference to Abraham by the way. AA is an incredible tough guy with a lionheart and an iron will, but he continued to fight with a broken jaw which is very (way too) risky.

Yes and no, because for me there's a difference between "undisputed" and "the best in his class". Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe and Lennox were better than Damiani, Bentt and Hide. A boxer with all the belts would be undisputed in my eyes, but I know that this sounds a bit strange :)

Well in that case you must also care about Vitali's amateur career as well.

So we can talk about Vitali's losses to Pele Reid and Oleg Maskasev. :yep

So there hasn't been an undisputed champ in any weight class in the last 20+ years in your opinion?

Dr Stobulas is right on. Haye is a KO waiting to Happen.

And to those who are bagging on Vitali, he has accomplished a lot at heavyweight. Is he all time? of course not.

But what we do know about Vitali is the following.

he is a legitamate title holder. He beat down Kirk Johnson in a fast destructive fight. regardless of Johnssons weight problems, he is a skilled boxer and only top guys can beat him.

We also know Vitali has heavy hands and downs guys with accumulations. We also know Vitali can take a heavy punch. Say what you want about sanders his straight left is fast and strong. Not many people can take that punch. We also know that Vitali does not lose rounds. Vitali stays up onther cards in most every fight.

Unfortunately Vitali has been plagued by Injury. A man of that size is bound to get hurt from time to time.

mark my words. haye will never achieve as much as Vitali did, even if vitali only comes back to beat sam peter.

Honestly, the writing is on the wall for Haye already. The fact he doesn't want to step in the ring with Toney, which a win against "Lights Out" would put him on the map against Wlad, tells me he is not legitimate. And Haye and his fans should be ashamed of themselves talking the way they do. Now if he proved everyone wrong, then I definitely could understand all the talking. But, Toney would woop him around the ring.

Haye is more hyped than a Rocky movie. He won't even fight Skelton, or Barrett for 500k. Let's see Haye beat a top 20 guy first. Until then, better fighters deserve the ink.

Enough bad-mouthing established heavyweights......................Haye needs to get in the ring with a top ten heavy, as he said he would, and get this thing going, already.
