David Haye says that Wlad will go down in history as a better fighter than big brother Vitali :-(

Haye says Vitali has no heavyweight legacy

Haye makes this claim by saying

    He lost to Lennox Lewis.

He wan the WBC title against Corrie Saunders

and made only one defence against Danny Williams

Haye is down playing the achievements and rating of Vitali

He is rating Wlad higher than him and citing him as the man

However Haye didnt mention that Vitali also reigned as WBO Champion.

If you gonna judge Vitali the way Haye does - what about himself

What Crusierweight legacy does he have.

He wan the title and made one defence against Enzo Maccarenelli

    Haye lost to Carl Thompson

Vitali got stopped on cuts to Lennox Lewis - ahead on points

Vitali much better performance in defeat there

Vitali's 2nd round KO over WBO Champion Herbie Hide is as least as impressive as Hayes 2nd round TKO over WBO Crusier Champ Enzo Maccarenelli

John Marc Mormeck dont compare to Lennox Lewis

Haye said - dont matter what no-one says he lost the Lewis fight

    yes techincally he did

such was Lennox class he might have lost anyway had the fight gone on

however Vitali came out of that fight will real merit as being one of the best heavyweights about

his legacy is better than Hayes

Haye is clearly getting way to caught up in his hype

He said he will become Britains greatest ever heavyweight

Thats some claim for a totally unproven heavyweight

There is no guarentee that Haye will ever become heavyweight champion

But even if he achieved this - how we he ever build a legacy like Lennox Lewis's - or as he says even greater

KO Wlad would not make him Britains greatest heavyweight

    Haye needs a reality check

I think Vitali will be the one to give it

    Thoughts anyone?

Flint can you not type with gaps in between each line its really annoying to read.

Other than that Haye is right and wrong at the same time. As it stands Vitali has a much better legacy than himself, but I feel that Haye thinks he that will surpass that in the future by beating Vitali's brother Wlad.

Omg...imagine....Haye beats Chambers in his upcomming fight than beats Wlad for the HW title....meanwhile....Vitali beats Peter....setting up

    HAYE VS VITALI

    Dam, that would be something.

I agree hes not giving Vitali the credit he deserves. And at the same time over-rates himself.

Fact is Vitali was the best heavyweight in the world when injury forced him away, and he is the best heavyweight this decade (after Lewis).

Wlad may have made more defences but hes lost more fights as well...

Vitali is more effective and is TOUGH to beat.

Haye himself says - he will not have to beat both Klit brothers to become the best

Jeez Flint, dont you know that most of what ANY boxer says is said in order to get the other guy into the ring!!!!!!
    :patsch
What Haye says and what he actually beleives are two entirely different things mate.

Haye stands a better chance against the "softer" Wlad

But if Vitali could come back the same force of old - I would love to see that one

Vitali brings an iron chin with his power and awkward style.

Wlad has shown in the past that he can be knocked out. Haye is really banking on blasting Wlad early, but make no mistake Wlad could just as easily KO Haye with a single shot.
