Who do you feel has more, and are they completely different types of power?

I think Herbie Hide packs more power in a single punch, but Haye is by far and above the better fighter from just about every other aspect.

More power? Hide. Hide made some guys do funny things when he hit them.

No one, but even against heavyweight journeyman, Hide has managed to put fighters to sleep. We have yet to see this with Haye. Plus, Hide is past his prime now and has dropped down to cruiser. Thus far, he has looked pretty good in getting guys out of there.

At this moment in time you have to say Hide.

Has Haye ever KO'd a heavyweight??

    Hide certainly has

Haye, the Mormeck KO trumps any KO Hide has managed. Haye puts more weight behind his shots than Hide ever did. Just look at the number of 1 punch KOs Haye has, its HIGH.

I don't think you saw much of Hide on the way up. He was something.

Here's the difference. Hide was startching heavyweights. Haye is mostly doing his work on crusier weights.

Riddick Bowe's legs went to Hide cracked him. Bowe, who as at his peak for thee fight won later via mid round TKO. However to this day he says Hide, not Holyfield, Lewis, Gonzalez, or Golota hit him the hardest.

I followed allot of Hide, he got kos from his speed and leaping in but he never got a huge amount of torque in his shots.

Bowe may have said Hide was the biggest hitter he faced but I dont buy it, thats the sort of thing a fighter says after hes been given a hard fight. To say Hide's power is up tere with Lennox is laughable though, Hides technique and strength just isn't up to that

I'm not saying Hide doesnt have very good power, because he does. I just think Haye is potentially a murderous hitter because he certainly has been at Cruser and in his 1 HW fight

Haye has already ko'd better chins than anyone Hides dented despite not fighting at HW yet

I dont think Hayes power will carry on to heavy very well.. Not saying hes gonna be featherfisted, just saying I dont think hes going to be a VERY feared puncher or anything..

hide usually steps in more and isnt a counterpuncher. he uses his agility to get out the way and land big punches form different angles. and when he hits you he doesnt let you off the hook and swarms his way to victory.

haye uses his hieght and olympic boxing skills to get the distance and use his jab, then land striaght rights and left hooks on his target.

herbie is good but he is not a incredibly skilled guy he just does a mix of swarm and dance

it feel haye punches harder. but there is a point where it doesnt matter. choose your poison really

I agree. Let see him knock ut so heavyweights. For all we know, Povetkin might harder atheavyweight. Povetkin fought an blown up crusier weight once and smashed him better than Haye beat Enzo.

Povetkin smashed a prime cruser as good as Enzo? I think not. Povetkin is smaller than Haye anyway, he weighs more because hes overweight
