Imo Haye didn't prove he can carry his power at heavyweight cause Barrett chin was already ruined way before he met Haye and it took Haye 5th round to finish Barrett after Barrett knockdown Haye. If Barrett was able to land shots on Haye and even knockdown Haye from a punch, Would Haye be able to wouldstand Vitali big shots?
If Haye ould be faster and smarter, he has a chance to win by UD. Especially if VK would be prepared to the fight like he was for the Gomes' fight and become tired so fast. But I think Haye would catch some Vit's bombs, even not the clean ones, and it would ruin his gameplan. And we really need to have this Haye theme been overed. By one of the Klitschkos.
I think Haye is a smart guy - proven easily by the fact that he got a shot at Klitschko with only one real fight at HW. However taking statistics into account and his performance against Barret I highly doubt he has a chance.
1. How can you 'ruin' a chin!?? 2. He finished Barrett off quicker than Wlad and Valuev! 3. Barrett didnt land flush cos Haye was 2 quick and was knocked down five times. 4. I said Hayes chin will be checked and the outcome of the fight either way will be KO. atsch
Did you watch Haye vs Barrett fight? Barrett did land shots on Haye and even knockdown Haye ( If you ain't a biased Haye fan then you will agree with me that Barrett did knockdown Haye from a punch) Of Course Haye Finish Barrett quicker cause Barrett chin couldn't hold anymore thanks to Wlad and Valuev and the rest of the fighters that ko Barrett before Haye did.
Gomez is twice the cruiser that Haye is. Plus he is a more established heavy, therefore i stick to my original pick of Vitali in 6
1. Hayes chin is questionable 2. Yes he finished him off quicker than Wlad but Wlad fought Barrett when he was in his prime ala the year 2000 plus he finished him off 1or2 rounds slower yet knocked Barrett down 6 times plus he was never knocked down himself. 3.Haye telegraphed his punches plus he was knocked down and he even admitted it himself. 4. Yes you are right.
Listen your an idiot and completel ignored my points that you so seemlesly ignored!!!! Yes i believe he knockdown Haye but then hit him when he was down and Haye was fine cos within a couple of mins in next round he KO'd him. How can you ruin someones chin!? Barrett landed nothin other than the meaningless knockdown which to be honest was accompanied by a shove. I think your lookin for a reaction so this will be my last post to you. Vitali took 9 rounds to take out a guy that had previously been KO;d in 1!! explain that with your rubbids logic!!! and got marked up by JCG! (For the real boxing fans i know what happenede with JCG in his first loss so please dont reply)
JCG can only box his way to victory, his power does not carry to that weight. This is why Haye is so appealing. JCG is not twice the cruiser than Haye, plus were talking about heavyweight. Im not denying, actually openly admitting ~H~aye has a shaky chin, its this and his speed and power that make him so attractive to this dull and boring heavyweight scene. Lets face it vitali took 9 rounds to take out this former cruiserweight with a TKO and i was bored, really bored.
You easily talking like you're a way biased Haye fan. Barrett hit Haye while Haye was down? So Haye didn't hit Barrett atleast 3 times after Barrett already went down? Did you watch round 3 when Haye elbow Barrett right in front of the ref for a knockdown? I guess not. Yea Gomez was ko by a bum fighter but so was Barrett who was ko in 2 by a fighter that has lost 18 times with losing 11 times by ko.
