He won't need that one punch KO power against someone like Haye. And if you don't think that Vitaly will land at all, you should rewatch the Haye vs. Barrett fight. When Barrett chose to use his jab, he was landing those at will against Haye.

Vitaly has NEVER been losing on points at the time of stoppage... win or lose. That's gotta tell you something

 

Chagaev is a better and stronger opponent anyway. HBO better cover the fight!

 

I remember when people were saying Vitali-Haye was a done deal. I think it was only Gomez's protest that scuttled the fight.

Haye has no chance against either brother but he would have been hurt less by Wlad. Now Haye can try to "walk the walk" after "talking the talk" about Vitali. Somehow I think he will lose that shirt and be very respectful about Vitali from now on.

 

Wlad needs to find a live body for the sake of boxing, the heavyweight division needs something interresting, besides Chagaev, Valuev, or Arreola,,,,i dont know who else he can fight......Toney? Poverkin is already his mandatory.

Let Haye wait a few months and take on Vitali....he still gets to fight a Klitschko...then he can disappear into the bolivian.

 

This fight with Haye brought a bit of buzz about the division again, just very disappointing how its turned out, i think i'd rather watch paint dry than Wlad against guys like Chagaev

 

To everyone bitching about this, HAEY or at least his camp has lost all credibility

Their claims have changed too many times. It went from a hand injury that would take 3 weeks to a back injury that would take 7 weeks. So why should WALD and his camp believe them when they say he will be ready in X weeks at this point? Let HAEY recuperate and have a clean bill of health, so he can get KTFO by WALD without any excuses
