Nothing too concrete here, looks like speculation more than anything solid but it would be good to see negotiations for this fight begin

Article at the scene of boxing claiming Povetkins team want strict drug testing with Wlad, although it also implies that Atlas is still wanting a couple more fights before a Klitschko fight. According to the article, Berndt Boente said '...they understand their boxer doesn't stand a chance in this bout and are looking for a way to gain more time'

Incidentally, I now rate Haye as third best current heavyweight ahead of Povetkin- but if Adamek beats Arreola I might have to rethink that

I'm not sure beating Arreola proves much. The man hasn't beaten a top 40 heavyweight and doesn't seem to want to rectify that statistic by entering the ring in decent shape.

Povetkin is paying Haye to take his place more likely. Neither want any part of any Klitchko.

Arreola fights effectively at his weight, he took a lot of punches against Vitali and kept coming forward throwing his own punches- and earned a lot of respect here for it. Also, because of Adamek's style it would mean more for him to beat Arreola than if someone who fights like Chris Byrd beat him. Its a fair comment about Arreola's level of opposition so far, but in my opinion he is dangerously underrated now and a very high-risk low-reward fight for Adamek to take

If Povetkin can get step aside money for a fight he would like 'step aside' from anyway he'll be laughing all the way to the bank

    No kidding. :rofl

By hook or by crook, Haye-Wlad's the fight I want to see next though. If it makes Povetkin's wallet fatter doing something he'd gladly do for free, more power to him.

Well, that´s mandatory since Klitschko´s TV station wants this although. I´d like that to happen and I think there´s a good chance since neither Povetkin nor Atlas are eager to fight Wlad.

If he beats Arreola then Adamek's accomplishments at HW > than Haye's imo. Golota Estrada Arreola is better than Barrett, Valuev, Ruiz. Arreola is a better win than Valuev and Estrada a much better win than the version of Ruiz he fought.

I don't think so. Again, Arreola hasn't beaten a top 40 fighter but gets credit for being fat, American and able to knock out guys with shitty records and Estrada has done nothing. Ruiz is at least a hardy contender, he's been in there with top guys and beaten some of them with his ugly tactics. Golota, even at this stage, is probably better than Barrett though.

If Adamek even wants to be taken remotely seriously at heavyweight he should be disposing of Chris Arreola comfortably. I suspect he will.

Povetkin doesnt want to face wlad anyway! so why does he need to get paid from hayemaker? wlad will fight samuel peter next and haye will move on
    valuev rematch then chagaev
