Povetkin is acting like a *****. He's supposed to be a world class boxer, one of the best in the world at heavyweight, and he keeps finding excuses to NOT step up and fight.

Haye can pay the Povetkin? What bul**** is this? Is Mr. Haye the IBF?

The IBF orders a mandatory fight. Povetkin should fight or the IBF should stripped him off his mandatory status. Than the IBF can say, unification is Wlads mandatory or not.

Bul**** talk from Haye like usual.

Let me explain how step aside money works. Essentially one party pays a mandatory to step aside, essentially **** away his immediate title shot so that the paying party can take the shot instead. It doesn't count as an IBF mandatory but it will count for the belt.

Now with that explained, Here is why I don't believe Potvetkin will get a dime. David Haye isn't stupid enough to pay someone to step aside if he is going to get anything less than a satisfactory deal from the Klitschkos. David Haye knows he holds the most important belt in the division now and he isn't going to give it up for anything less than what he believes it is worth.

Good post. Haye is in the driver seat at this point. The Klits worst nightmare came to light when Haye beat Valuev. The Klits were going to nickle and dime Haye into a contract because he was without a strap. Now that he has one and his decapitation shirts and trash talk is making waves on youtube, the Klits now will have to pay Haye more money if they want that title.

I give Haye alot of credit, he walked away from a bad deal that could of earned him a title. Instead side stepping the Klits and taking on Valuev. If this was a game a chess, Haye would be winning.

Wouldn't take much. Povetkin would probably step aside in exchange for a handful of Skittles.

Story is backwards. Povetkin is paying Haye to take his place.

I was going to say that. Then my imagination took over and the thought of Povetkin opening up his hand and Haye giving him a handful of skittles made me laugh. Povetkin would do just about anything to get out of fighting Wlad.

Povetkin is scared shitless of Wlad. He should just take his ass whooping like the rest of them, at least he will walk away with a nice payday from it.
