    Completely theoretical here:

What happens if Wlad gets beaten by whomever he takes for his upcoming fight?

Does Haye still fight Wlad when he can? does he take another interim fight then Wlad? Does he go after Vitali? or does he repeat the process and fight the winner of Wlad vs X?

Forgive me if i've missed any politics or anything here that makes any of my questions ******ed or irrelevant!

It's likely the contract will be off. Haye could not fulfill his end of the contract and since this is a voluntary the contract get scraped. The fight with Vitali was part of the rematch conditions, so that's out the window, but Vitali could make his own fight with Haye. Next up for Wlad is Povetkin (ready or not) because it's a mandatory and must be fulfilled in a timely manner.

Yeah, it's a definite possiblity the contract is just scrapped. Maybe given the ticket sales and buzz it means they could renegotiate with better contract for Haye? (conspircy theorists could even say Haye faked the injury to get a better contract when he's 'healed'!)

If it were scrapped I reckon Haye vs Vitali is the next port of call. Then a Wlad fight further down the line. Probably makes most sense with Vitalis limited time left in the sport.

Unfortunately it's more likely that Wlad will now make Haye earn a mandatory spot, take the fight to purse bid and end up offering Haye some pocket lint.

I'm not taking any sides in this. If Haye's injury is legit then it's very unfortunate for both Haye and unfortunate and unfair to Wlad, if it's a bogus injury it's hard for Haye to come out of this looking good. The backlash from this after all the hype will be fairly awful.

Wlad Haye contract becomes void. Wlad and Haye are free to do whatever they want.

Can this fight be saved, CHEF?

Can Wlad fight a bum and be ready in 6 weeks?

This whole thing is really fishy to me.

I'm not sold on Haye being really injured because the broadcaster for the fiight over here (Setanta) is in serious financial trouble and a mess.

Haye wants the fight delayed by 6 weeks but people are'nt even sure if Setanta will even still be alive in 6 weeks.:patsch

What's up with Setanta. I am in the states, forgive me for my naiveness, but I've been hearing on the board there in financial trouble? How it could it be?
