    Fair enough, but I think it was evident before-hand that all the trash-talk was to rile Valuev up and make him aggressive in the ring, therefore allowing Haye space and time to box-and-move.

    Yes because he is fighting John Ruiz. He will attempt to fight the Klitschko's in the same boring running manner. If he would not even commit to engaging with a slow oaf like Valuev he is not going to try with the Klitschko's who are faster, punch harder and have better skills than Valuev dreams of having. It is going to make for boring fights.

    the only thing i can think of Rico is that against Valuev he could do that and get away with it, against Wlad and Vitali he simply will be FORCED to do more unless he doesnt want to win. Also.... after talking like hes been talking about wlad, and if he showed up and 'fought' like that against wlad the shitstorm will be about 1000x worse.

    The reason he lost was because he engaged with him don't you realise that?

    The german judges couldnt give it to Valuev because he did't land anything. why dont people realise this?

    I knew he would box and move against Valuev who is not that hard to outbox. The problem I have with him is that he didn't want to engage at all. He was content with
    landing 3 or 4 punches each round.

    And yeah I've heard about his hand injury, but comon, he basically fought the whole fight the same way he fought the first 2 rounds before he got hurt.
    I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because I know he could have done much more than that.

    Ruiz and Holyfield got inside and engaged more. They didnt get the decision.

    Who's tactics were right?

    I don't know, maybe because they got robbed?

    All 3 had good tactics, but just one got the right decision.

    Yes but my point is that Valuev landed a lot more shots on the other two, he still didn't win, but in Germany you have to put it beyond doubt.

    The risks they took gave the judges an excuse to give valuev rounds

    I don't think from memory Valuev hit Haye with a single clean shot, all grazing if any.

    Team Haye's tactics were spot on

    I'm glad Haye won. Atleast he has a personality and probably bring some excitment to the HW division.

    Like I said all 3 had good tactics, but just one got the right decision. You just can't justify the bad judging by saying it was on Germany.

    Well I did have him winning, but I've only seen it once, and it was live with a not so great stream.

    You have to take ito account not only your opponent but the judges when devising a game plan fighting from home, especially in Germany.
