David Haye will return to the ring on July 6 as he sets out on the long road to what he hopes will be another tilt at the world heavyweight title.
A London comeback against a ranked-but-as-yet-unnamed opponent represents a first step towards a mandatory championship challenge.

The Hayemaker had been hoping to cut corners by trash-talking Vitali Klitschko into the ring but the WBC belt-holder has lost interest in the Englishman who was embarrassingly trounced by his younger brother almost two years ago.

    where did it say that?

Be interesting to see what kind of crowd Haye could pull in London vs a non name opponent.

Maybe this is who Hearn was talking about when he said "You wouldn't believe the level of fighter we are talking too"

Must be a co promotion with sky? Where else would a fight with Povetkin go? Hearn gives him a ready made undercard and the sky platform. Where will it be? 02 arena or will there not be enough demand?

Alexander Povetkin, Kurbat Purlev, Tyson Fury, Tomasz Adamek or Chris Arreolla would all be good opponents.

can't see Haye returning to regular TV/Sky. It will be Sky Box Office with Hearn doing the undercard, or Box Nation with Frank doing the undercard. Either way the 02 would be the most likely arena.

He said he was going to retire at 31, and wasn't going to fight Audley Harrison, and would only come out of retirement for a Klitscko...then after Chisora said he would only fight a Klitscko....so I wouldn't take much notice of that lol.

Boxnation more likely if that's the case. No way Eddie or sky have him PPV unless its Fury or they stack the card. With it being so close to Froch fight they don't have ability to stack card enough IMO.
