    Two things:

Are you denying that Haye does not bring Wlad his career high pay day (and vice versa)?

Show me a source to show a voluntary Klitschko defence where the opponent got 50:50 of everything and had no rematch clauses. I'm still waiting.

Chef, whilst Wlad is the clear favourite I wouldn't get too cocky if I was you. All it takes is one clean punch from Haye and Wlad will have to engage his amazingly slow powers of recovery.

I'm not a Haye fan myself, but even I appreciate that he has slightly more than a puncher's chance in this match.

It's a fair question, but it's not contextual.
This isn't just a voluntary defence it's a unification and the previous unification match that Wlad had against Sultan Ibragimov was both a 50/50 split and had no rematch clauses.

Well it is stil a voluntary defence - it's a fight where Wlad and Haye are free go choose sho they defend their title against - but I take your point that it's not a standard voluntary defence as both parties bring a belt.

I heard about that 50:50 no rematch contract, but I'm sure someone said was Chagaev. That's why I was looking for a source.

May have been Chagaev as well, I can't remember offhand.

But your other question there isn't any doubt...yes it's the biggest payday for both Haye and Wlad.

Exactly. Not least to mention he's about 70lbs heavier than Wladamir & has a head the size of a Hot Air Balloon!

Haye can talk **** all he wants. IF he grows a pair and gets into the ring with either Klit, his glass jaw is getting shattered.

Why do you think he's been putting it off as long as possible?

Not contradictory at all, you missed out the part that I said in brackets. Most of the British population don't know who the Klits are, but the closer the fight gets, the more the British media will hype it up and Haye will be Ali reincarnated and Wlad will be the baddest man on the planet by the time Newscorp is done. They go overboard when the opponent is the likes of SNV and Audley so you can imagine how nuts the hype will be for the recognised champion. Haye couldn't get that kind of hype without facing a Klit, and the Klit brothers can't get the kind of money they will get without facing Haye. Like I said, good business for everyone involved.

But thats got nothing to do with the initial contract. Its actually illegal in most civilized countries for those two to ever fight again. The UN, NATO and Russia have all spoken on this issue. I think it was immediately after that fight that Wlad was banned from US TV.

I totally agree the good business part. Of that there is no doubt. The only possible bigger event would be, though it won't happen, Wlad vs Vitali.

My point really was that the British public has greater perception of who the Klitschkos are than may be generally accepted, which is why that kind of build up will work and exactly why Haye can't get that kind of hype without facing one of them.
I don't know they'll be suggesting too much that Wlad is the recognised champion as that'd be almost acknowledging that Haye was a mere belt holder...I'm guessing they'll be saying things like "The other claimant to the championship"...etc

I must admit as someone who has joined this site a few days ago I am quite surprised and shocked seeing the abuse the Klitschko Kings receive, I expected this uncalled for hatred from non boxing fans, I find it disgusting that on an apparent boxing "fans" site these two gentlemen who are a credit to the sport get so much abuse, I think we all know why this is and quite frankly I find it a disgusting reason to hate another human, I for one am very disappointed in this site.

    1. No, I am not denying Wlad vs. Haye brings Wlad's biggest payday. Why would anyone in their right mind deny this fact? Where have I made such insinuation?

    2. Ibragimov - Wlad was a voluntary defense, but not a regular one since it was a (voluntary) unification fight. It was 50:50 no rematch.

Look if an opponent wants 50:50 no options from the Klits they have to bring a belt. It's that simple. That's how it was with Iggy and that's how it was with Haye.

If you bring something to the table such as a HW belt you get a good deal. If you're a nobody like Haye was in 2008 you get the usual crap deal. I doubt this is news to anyone who has followed boxing for more than a month.
