It's all about money and he really wants to study his style to beat him. Which proabably wont help. Haye vs Klit will probably be the biggest heavyweight money fight in a long time
why is he waiting till november to get his next hw fight, especially if he is "the man"? he had what a 1 round fight a few months ago? if he's gonna take a maskaev/barrett or any top 15 type fighter it definitely shouldn't take so long.
10 times, not five. And he obviously wants Wlad cause Wlad is seen as the absolute best fighter in the sports glamour division. Also, it'll make alot of money for both fighters. I agree that Haye does need to cut the mouthing and constant self promotion til he's beaten at least one top ten heavy, if not two, then maybe hype the potential Wlad fight. But as he is, now, Haye comes across as a big talker who is not in the position he thinks he is.
Don't worry, you guys that hate him will all have a great deal of fun when the shaky-chinned Haye (at CRUISERWEIGHT, no less) gets starched by the first decent HW puncher he faces. Mark my words. Unless he fights nothing but stiffs before taking on Wlad, Haye will get knocked out cold LONG before he ever qualifies to fight for the title.:yep
I hope he gets knocked the **** out so bad that he will be silent for the next week ! Not even knowing how to ask a nurse to bring the shitter !
I usually don't agree with you, but your Holmes comment you made early and this one are along my thought process as well. Unless he absolutely just gets an awesome draw, I will be surprised if he ever fights Wlad. People are really underestimating the cruiser-heavy jump.
mr. haye as usual...instead of telling the whole world how great he is,he should get in the ring with somebody, and show us how great he is. the enzo fight he allways talks about, isn´t the biggest fight in history...!
Because he's building himself up for heavyweight after a few years of boiling down to cruiser. He weighed in at 197lbs for his last fight and will probably be around 230 for his next one. And he'll still look ripped. I think the people who think Haye is 'too small' for heavyweight are going to get a bit of a shock.
He is just trying to gain as much media attention as possible - and he seems to be doing a good job as well. I bet there will be more people watching his second heavyweight outing now that he has confronted and called out Wlad, and talked a lot of ****.
Haye is pretty funny. Doesn't bother me. If he fails, then people like myself will be disgusted, but he gets the benefit of the doubt in the meanwhile. Is it more than likely that he'll fall short? Look at the division he's talking about! Shiiit.
The truth makes you sick? Haye has to prove himself in the HW division. Right now he ist an excellent cruiser who want´s to go to the big boys. But an the moment he has done NOTHING to prove he can be a world class HW.
