Who beat Ray Mercer easier. Who knocked him out quicker and in more impressive fashion. Lewis or Wlad?

 

Wlad. But Mercer was shot to bits so it don't count.

 

Haye just knows AJ will beat Vlad (The same guy that schooled Haye) so he’s just doing damage control so he can save face. He’s already said he faced a dangerous Vlad whereas AJ is facing a washed out Vlad. Truth is he’s jealous that AJ has took his place as the most popular HW in the UK and he just wants a pay day with AJ.

 

People tend to forget how shot Mercer was for that fight, he was a walking punch bag.

 

Is this like how Steve Kim kept reporting for every fight after Vitali's four year layoff that his knee was blown out and he wasn't going to be able to fight his opppoent. This went on for 9 training camps. Never was the truth.

 

And then he got clocked by Dahaupas

 

And Dino isn't forgetting how awfully shot Peter was vs. Helenius? C'mon guys at least use some consistency when arguing.

 

Haye is probably talking out of his ass but there might be a grain of truth to this. Wlad is closer to 50 then 30, has looked genuinely awful in his last two fights and hasn't fought in almost 1 1/2 yrs.

 

This just goes to show how desperate Haye is. He WANTS to believe Wlad is without chance vs AJ so Haye can get his own payday. Haye is so broke he needs this AJ fight to come together soon.

 

If AJ gets past Wladimir Hayes still ain't getting the payday retirement fight with AJ. AJ has bigger fish to fry. Either Ortiz mandatory or go after Wilder in a unification fight.

 

Bellew clocking Haye would be the best to happen to humanity in 2017.
