Haye felt the devastating power of the bronze bomber, and didn't want anymore of it. Some people say. That it was the hard sparring sessions with Wilder that deteriorated his punch resistance, and caused his permanent injuries. Godbless you Deontay.

Some say he completely had his way with Haye.

''Deontay Wilder ‘wiped the floor’ with David Haye during sparring session despite Brit heavyweight ‘catching him clean

Deontay Wilder bested David Haye in sparring as he prepared to fight Tyson Fury, claims retired British heavyweight Richard Towers''

“Me and Deontay are friends – we sparred in Sheffield, London, even my kitchen.

“We’re very close so we’d go easy. But I remember him just throwing a right hand and not meaning to put anything into it, the speed – until you get in there you don’t realise – and that’s the same for his power.

“His chin, I’ve hit him clean on the chin, and watched David Haye catch him clean on the gym – he wiped the floor with David.”

Towers believes Wilder is the most agile heavyweight out there – and hailed his incompatible power.

The 38-year-old added: “You can’t make one mistake with Deontay because he hits that hard – he’s more agile than any big man I’ve seen.

“He hit me with a right hand just above my temple – we had 20oz gloves on – and it wobbled me and I remember my left leg felt really heavy.

“For two weeks after that, I had a terrible pain, like somebody had a hot knife in the bottom of my foot and it were shooting up my leg.”

Towers has also been behind the ropes with Joshua and claims the only time he got sent to the canvas is when he took his eye off the ball.

The 6ft 8ins Yorkshireman explained: “With Joshua, because I was quite elusive it was always even.

“I’d only sparred a few times in me life, and I went to throw a relaxed shot, and Joshua was uptight and tense, and he caught me with a check-hook on the temple.

“He put me down. I got back up and we did another few rounds. Joshua always got to four rounds and he’d be blowing, ’cause he was geared to fight four.

“After that I never took my eye off the ball and never got dropped again
    .

He never hurt me, he was an accumulative puncher and I was off-balance. There were a few times I’d catch him and I’d numb him.

Ortiz is not 6'4", the top of his head was at Deontay's nose. I'm pretty sure Wilder's nose to the top of his head is more than 3"

That's frightening stuff, says it all. I'm a big Haye fan but Bellew repeatedly said throughout the build up that Haye never mentioned Wilder's name after his comeback as a potential opponent. Even when Bellew mentioned that throughout both their fight build ups, Haye just laughed nervously.

Speaks volumes that Haye targeted a Joshua fight but genuinely didn't mention Wilder at all.

The same way Parker was more comfortable going after Joshua after Wilder offered to stand in after Hughie pulled out of the first fight.

How anyone believes Joshua has a chance against Wilder after reading all these accounts and seeing what the power has actually done to his opponents in the ring, never ceases to amaze me.

There's no way Joshua's suspect chin survives 12 rounds with Wilder. It didn't survive against Okolie, Price and Dubious and didn't hold up against a 40 year old Wlad.

Yet the sky casuals will tell you it's an easy fight Joshua who takes him out within 3 rounds even though he's failed to knock out his last two opponents.

He sparred with many rounds he was his trainer, he has no reason to make up anything.

Oh but I forgot you only believe what comes out Hearn's mouth.

It's people like you who are the reason why I cannot wait for when the day comes when that chinny roided robot has no choice but to step in the ring with Wilder and gets put in a coma

Ok, i am possibly wrong then. They’re lying about his height the same way they lie about his age. I would go 6”2-6”3. Hardly small that.

You can use a million excuses to hate on AJ, and you'd have valid points on some of them.

But don't use Wilder's resume, it's paper thin and embarrassing for a WBC champ after 40 fights.

This thread isn't about resume, it's about out of this world power.

Which is why it's called the right hand from hell.

Its not small but the original point is if a 6'2" slow footed guy can't miss you with his jab a 6'6" guy with one of the sports best jabs is going to give you nightmares.

Wlad simply had Wilder's number, he wrecked him in sparring and even an older Wlad is still stylistically all wrong for him which is why they steered well clear.

I know the story is bullocks because towers is acting like he was tooling AJ after a few sessions.

Towers is a complete bum who AJ would demolish in a round.

So I know towers is full of ****.

    Peddling nonsense

Shelly fickle managed both fighters and thought it would be in their interests not to fight each other.

Wilder never went out of his way to avoid Wlad. In fact he is on record numerous times during that period stating he would love to fight him.

It's funny how much value you aj groupies put on what happens in sparring when it comes other fighters.

Yet when it's confirmed that Price, the cruiser Okolie and the teenage novice Dubious all had their turns in drilling AJ to the canvas in sparring, you come up with the excuse that sparring is sparring and what happens under the bright lights is what matters.

    So which one is it?

Shirley winkle is a charlatan and a liar

As for the AJ sparring stories, there's a difference between being clipped and going over during many rounds of sparring. It's quite another to be thoroughly dominated from start to finish as bum squad was by Wlad.

Wilder is a bum, a phoney and a fraud.

It's not too late to join the right side.

He didn't get clipped he got wrecked. Dubious slapped him around, round after round before flooring and he needed carrying out of the ring after Price knocked him out unconscious.

They're not stories they've been confirmed.

But we know you're a deluded gormless matchroom goon so no point trying to reason with you.
