Botha? He was shot to bits when Klitschko knocked him out several years ago! I'd love to see him take on Briggs though. All he'd have to do if stay away from him for a few rounds then land a couple of solid punches.

I think Botha finally retired at hte end of last year. Not entirely sure though. That match up would have been good though.

Golota is a great pick and should make a great fight. I'll be betting on how many rounds it takes Haye to make Golota cry.

I think Rahman is most peoples pick but anyone in that area of old ok Americans would be fine including Briggs.

golota is the guy who will answer all the questions about hayes potential!

although andrews over the hill hes still good enough to beat david haye or if not really let him know what heavyweights all about golotas a huge guy.
if he had better mental strength he could have been undisputed champ no doubt.

if that fight came off i take golota by tko in 9.

Golota can blow hot and cold. Haye could go all out in the first and take him out.

I would put him in with fat Peter Sam, Haye has the beating of fatso. It will give him a pucca title which he can defend a few times and then setup up a mega money fight against Wlad.

no way will haye fight sam peter right away thats an unecessary gamble which you can only lose. unless haye kos peter which is about as likely as a crocodile doing the salsa.peter beat a defensive master in james toney twice so hes no mug that fight is 1 hayes people will want nothing to do with.
    unless their bonkers!

But didn't they try to make a fight with Klitschko? Anyway, Peter is fighting Vitali at the end of the year and defending his title in June which is a bit soon for Haye.

wladimir has 2 bums haye calls them who are his mandatory challengers tony thompson and some other unknown,so you can bet your life hayes not gonna fight someone dangerous like peter when he can fight a tune up against a journeyman to keep him ticking nicely till wlad gets these 2 mandatorys over.

haye should try his damnest to get golota ,shannon briggs ,or brian nielson from denmark.the guy who gave tyson a good fight in 2000 retired on his stool.or haye should fight damnny williams hell that could be made easy!

No risk at all, Haye has more than enough with just his movement to beat the plodding fatso. Add the jab, uppercut etc and fatso will not know what has hit him.

Fatso is not very dedicated and getting fatter by the day, he has zero movement and looked gassed in his last fight (and both him and the russian chap looked ****).

i think youll find most posters will disagree with you mate although i aint saw him lately ill take your word hes looking bad but he has a good chin and a good jab and can punch haye should get golota or that guy sergei liakovich who was a title holder till briggs beat him in the last second of the 12th round ,but stay away from peter id stay away from any guy who dominated james toney!untill i got wladimir in the ring fight him if he wins he can pick n choose who he fights but if he loses against peter the klitchko fight is almost totally lost.

Trust me mate no way Haye loses to fatso. Forget the Toney fight and look at what fatso is now. He is a slightly harder hitting black equivalent of Greenberg, a plodder.

When they get a decent ref for one of his bouts he will get disqualified as the only damage he can do is by hitting behind the head. Fatso is no Ike.

Haye would dance circles round fatso. Lennox could beat him with a weeks training. Fatso is a very poor belt holder. I think he has got to be the worst black HW to hold a title since Audley held the highly regarded (not) WBF title.
