Team Povetkin is apparently interested and attended the Haye-Chisora fight.
Povetkin needs a fight and Haye could use another fight before fighting Vitali.
To me this fight is a David Haye type of fight. It just feels like it should happen.

    Haye KO6 Chubby Drunk Povetkin

Povetkin SUCKS. Marco Huck of all people beat the **** out of him. He WILL never take a fight with a quality opponent.

Haye would destroy him. As would both Klitschkos, Price, Fury, Pulev, Helenius, Arreola, Abdusalamov... Povetkin is a joke. No way his team allows him to fight Haye.

That's why it would be perfect for Haye. Povetkin is ranked highly but also sucks ever since he left Atlas. Haye could fight him to stay busy and keep the media hyped up for the beat down he will give Vitali.

Sauerland would want options on Haye and Haye won't be stupid enough to sign away his life to them again.

What's the point? The K bros both know that Haye is the number 3 Heavyweight. And to be honest, Chisora is probably ranked up there after going the distance with Vitali, and yet Haye took him apart. Haye's standing in the Heavyweight division is stronger than ever right now, and he doesn't need any other top 10 heavyweights apart from the K brothers.

I don't think Haye is too keen on fighting anyone besides a Klitschko. It's more about his pocket than his legacy. Povetkin is an overrated slob, and I don't think Haye would have any trouble dispatching this short, chubby foe.

Unfortunately we will never know how good Povetkin could potentially be because he'll always have 20 lbs too much on him. Lazy SOB.

no, Povetkin's got bigger fish to fry, he is working very hard to his September title defense against Hasim Rahman

the guy stopped fighting quality opposition when he beat Chagaev, it'll be B-level, or shot former champs at best, all the way now

I'd like this fight. Think it'd be a good fight for haye to win if he wants the public to get behind him and clamour for a k bro fight again,

If Haye could lure Povetkin or Adamek to fight in London, with Haye as co-producer, then Haye gets a big percentage of the proceeds. And there would be enormous interest in the fight.

Not as big a pay-day as a K2, but big $ less risk.

Haye should have taken Tyson's advice years ago. Avoid K2. Fight guys like Arreola, Tarver, Adamek, etc. Fight interesting personalities, fight in Vegas, gain exposure in the USA.

Yeah I would say Haye is number 3 but there are other guys out there that can beat Haye. Fury,Price and Helenius all 3 beat Haye if you as me. They all 3 can beat WLad too.

Don't think Haye is down with making a tiny bit of cash for fighting a guy the public over here haven't heard of. Either Povetkin or Adamek would be the guys to solidify his shot at vitali, but neither brings alot of ppv sales.

Povetkin has a better resume than Haye at HW unless you consider Chisora to be a better boxer than Chambers.

Boxing is a good sport, an interesting hobby to get involved in. You should put a bit of effort into following it.

Why so he beats a shitty Povetkin, gets the title, and getting even more overrated? No thanks.
