It's simple, Vitaly is over 39, next year he will be 40. Just to give you few examples:

-Larry Holmes was over 38yo when he fought Tyson and the consensus is he was past his prime.

-Mike Tyson was 36yo when he fought Lewis and everybody agrees that he was totally shot.

-Lennox Lewis was 37 years and 9 months old when he retired.

Now my point is that it's possible that Vitali is in better shape at 40 than those fighters above were but there is no denying that Vitali is old and past his prime. Don't get me wrong I don't think Haye can beat him but even if does the win won't be very meaningful. That's why to prove himself Haye needs to fight Wlad, who is still in his prime.

He should not fight either, they are too big for him now. He needs more experience at heavyweight maybe 5 more defenses. If he fights either Vlad has the chin which is more suspect.

5 more fights? LOL. At the rate Haye chooses to fight, he himself would be over 40.

those guys are too big. He needs experience at heavyweight to figure out what his strengths and weaknesses are at the weight. The Klitchkos are too big right now. It wouldn't take much to stop Haye if they landed anything.

^ More experience will not change the outcome of that^

Agree with most your stuff said, but with Haye's retirement talk and the Klitschko's not getting any younger, combined with all the **** Haye has talked the last couple years the time is now.

That's still seen as one of Tyson's best wins.

The question is IF, and that is a huge IF. One that I don't think we will ever see.

BTW, I think either Klitschko dominates Haye.
